thanks, mine filler cap opens all the time (when i start up the car or when i'm driving) just ordered a new one (i've got a difference oen on my car). wish i'll resolve the issue

It's a bit different between MFA models. Do you need to do this on W176 a-class? If so - you need to: 1) Remove the fender liner 2) remove a rubber cable cover between the arch and the fuel tank 3)Using a screwdriver press through the opened hole on unlock lever e.g. on b-class it could be done way easier - just from the trunk space
