How much 'extra space' is needed, for the self park feature to work? 2 or 3 or 4 feet more than the length of the car?

I have a mercedes with parking assist however when I try to use it I'm at the point when asking press ok or cancel I press ok but it does not work at all I don't know what's the problem

Interesting. on the MB Canada website it does list which vehicles have "park assist PARKTRONIC". Such as the G-Wagons. yet there's no description of the auto parking ability. Just the front/rear sensors. PARKTRONIC handles parallel/perpendicular parking. And takes the cars out of the parked space. Like all "auto park assist" systems from all companies that offer it (e.g. MB, Ford, RAM...etc.). Not sure if MB had this tech first. I noticed in a video for 2016 MB sedan that it was already available.

Like a lot of tech.. It isn't needed and it doesn't work properly. Think the T800 model is a way off yer.

It works this way: If you are an incopetent driver and you re unable to park a car then save your money and take a cab. Cheaper and much simpler!
