Before removing the sender unit just tie about 4' piece of string to the end of hoses. When ready to install the NEW sending unit, tie string to the hose ends and pull gently to guide from other end the pump side...voila (almost easy) 1 person job.

Going to need this for my ‘05 C55 AMG! Off to FCP to order a pump! No fuel pressure at the shrader valve in the fuel rail. Is it a pump or sending unit?

Sounds like a pump! You mentioned one of the best ways to distinguish a crank sensor from a fuel pump on your M113 - extended cranking and no-start with a crank sensor failure will still have fuel pressure at the rail, while a dead pump will have the same extended crank and no-start with no fuel pressure. Your pump will be on your US-passenger side, and the filter/sending unit (for filtration and fuel level readout) on your US-driver side with all of the lengthy crossover pipes. Replacement should be pretty similar to this video, with the potential of a couple of small AMG-minded differences. Never a bad idea to do the pump and sender in tandem - there's a strong chance your fuel filter hasn't been replaced since whenever the pump was installed!

Hello.. I have a 2006 model c180 kompressor and I have a problem with the fuel system, when it reaches half the tank the car turns off, verifying what happens is that the left side is not passing fuel to the left side. The 2 pumps and fuel filter have already been changed and the problem continues. Do you know what the cause of this problem would be? thank you

@@2six0 Should be the same process Even if its not its not hard. I'm sure you could get it done easy. mine took like 45 minutes for both side and i had never done it before.
