Hei, hienoa ja vaikuttavaa työtä. Minulla on R Mersu, jonka takaSAMiin tuli vesivahinko 2 vuotta sitten. Sen seurauksena PA mittari näyttää aina täyttä. Miten voisin selvittää, voiko vikatilan korjata vai onko jokin komponentti niin tiltissä, että koko piirilevy pitää uusia? Diagnostiikka antaa Sisäisen virheen C35E komponentille N10/8. Tätä enempää en sitten verkosta onnistukaan löytämään. SAM on suhteellisen siisti ja olen putsannut se mahdollismman hyvin, samoin liittimet.

@@MarkkuPenttila-t6r en oo näihin sen enempiä perehtynyt. Mutta tässä boksissa oli ainakin valmiita paikkoja piireille mitä ei ole ikinä asennettu. Että ilmeisesti varustelutasosta riippuen on myös rnemmän kalikoita samin sisällä. Ensin luulin et ois vaan ihjelmointi ero mutta taitaa olla kyl ihan fyysisiä komponentti eroja myös. Ja ihka ensiks kattosin miginy pinneihin se pa tankin tason anturi tulee. Ja niitä seuraisin piirilevyllä ett mille piirille se tulee. Toden näköisesti anturilta tulee kuitenkin jännite tai vastus tieto joka menee joko suoraan jonkun mikrocontrollerinnanalog inputtiin tai sitten se menee johonkin analog - > digital muuntimeen josta digitalintietona microcontrolliin... Jos on joku muunnin välissä niin senhän voi kyl vaihtaa ilman mitään kodailua.. ja toden näköisesti sellanen analog to digital muunnin on kuitenkin pintaliitos kikkura ja on erittäin mahdollista että on vain hapetumaa jalkojen välissä. Mikroskoopilla tai jollain muulla hyvin zoomavalla vehkeellä vaikka kameralla käyt huolella läpi koko piirilevyn ja hapettumat peset pois ipa alkoholilla ja hammas harjalla . Isoprophyl alkoholia saa ainakin hyvin varustellusta apteekista

What about using Sabilant 22 and coating outside connections with dielectric grease?

I dont think that connections are problem in sam units. And old word sentese is "dont repair it if it is working" xd i dont have enough knowledge what comes in really faulty sam units. I havent repaired even one yet. Even that unit what i opened wasent faulty and real fault was bootlid control module

Hello again to you!. I have a 17 year old E200k. Intention is to keep it for at least another 5 years. If 80% of issues in old SAM are due corrosion caused by moisture & dust I am thinking of getting a car electrician to take out all the SAM. Then clean them out, soft dry and spray a thin layer of CRC urethane spray for PCB. Is this like a PM, is this logical?. Can you do a video of coating a PCB board with advice on the do's and must not do's. Thanks.

I dont have more sams to be opened but coating could surely prevent moisure faults but opening sam that way that you could clean and coat both sides is really anoying task. Or that is my opinion what i have now when opened that one sam.... If you use gentle force it was possible to open Sam without solering but absolutly no way to put back togetger. It might have only way to desolder all fuse holders and wire connectros to open unit without doing damage to it and it was litlebit hard task because big connectors and thick pcb absorbs alot off heat so it is difficult to melt and remove solder. If beauty is not priority one then i might use dremel to cut case. Straight line somewhere near fuse terminals to enable rest off case to open and after coating just but epoxy glue to seal sam. I can ask from local mercedes service do they have old broken sams to giveavay. Then i could make video about coating.

How did you lift those few pins of the PCB.

With soldering iron and sawing needle. I used needle as leverage and iron to melt solder

If hardware off sams are same and If i can read programing from old unit then yes. I can copy old programming and dump it donor Sam. Hardwares off sams Will Be difrent on difrent models off sams and More or Less components are populated on pcb. Because off that it is important that sams hardwares are same

Really good guestion. It seems to Be missing some Componenta inside Sam and i assume that components are populated If they are needed for car. Coding features away might be possible but i dont know is it possible just program new features.

Is there web pahe where you can purchase Sam module flash dumb? To Motor management unit you can download flash dumb and flash ecu again but how about sams?

It depends what i repair and who owns it. I fix stuff only for my hobby and usually i fix allkind my friends items and because of that i am charging way to litle amount but it is not money after all for inspiring for repair. Every repair is puzzle and i am challengin my self and learning bit more from electronics

Paljon maksais taka samin korjaus/ tseukkas mikä sieltä menny. W211 taka vasen vilkku ei toimi ja toinen rekkarin valo ei pala

Onkos niitä koitettu jollain diagnostiikka ohjelmalla laittaa päälle? Tai mitattu suoraan Samin liittimistä ettei varmasti sieltä lähe ulos mittää?

@@ElectronicMechanicFinland samilta lähtevä johto valolle katottu ja kunossa. Se olis kiva tietää mikä johto siihen samiin menee mikä antaa sen vilkun. Ja icarsoft mb 3.0 katottu ja yks koodi oli esim [ohjainyksikkö n93 ei lähetä tietoa can väylään. Saman tyyppisiä koodeja antaa eli ei muodosta/ saa yhteyttä can väylää
