Mercedes E350 P0456 CODE CEL SOLVED Step by Step DIY W212 W204 Check Engine Light

What does Mercedes P0456 code check engine light means. P0456 is an OBD-II generic code that the engine control module (ECM) has detected a (very small leak) in the evaporative system during the vehicle off testing. The test has to fail twice in a row to cause the code to be activated by the ECM.
Its NOT always the gasoline fuel cap, purge valve, or charcoal vapor canister.
In this video Mike Icee will replace the fuel pump cap cover that triggered the check engine light for P0456. Mercedes W212 E350 e-class. Always check with a Mercedes Dealer for proper parts and repair methods. This part only costs about $30- $50 to replace. This will be similar in the W204 C-Class.

On my dashboard I’m able to check engine icon and I have scanned with obd device and got n number of errors most of them are low power kind errors are there but two errors are with oxygen sensor related

Error : 0443 & 0447 the output for the heater of oxygen sensor 1(cylinder bank 1 & 2) has an electrical fault or an open circuit Plz help me how to fix this issue. Thanks in advance..🙏👍

Error 0443/0447 are the same the fault, but the 3 is I believe right side and 7 left side. Do you have any symptoms other than check engine light?

@@allantruong5780 Its a low severity emission code. It just means that your car is not compliant with emission standards. Basically the car knows that a certain amount of gasoline is being vaporized but instead of being sealed/fed into the engine it is escaping into the atmosphere. Even the reader says "service should be scheduled" not "dont drive vehicle." That code alone should not cause any real danger to the car.
