Hi I got the same radio in 07 ml350 my sound audio doesn't come it started with like 1 sec no sound than turned off than when i turned on my car next day it worked again like half song than off again for a week now it's no sound at all.. any idea how to fix this or I need new unit ? Maybe just upgrade with Bluetooth touch screen?

I replaced the battery on my 2008 ML550; My question is can I unlock the Radio, CD player etc. from engineering mode or do it somewhere else? So far, I can’t find anything that addresses that.Help.

You need to call your local MB dealer, they will provide you code to unlock the radio/CD unit by your VIN.Not for free ofcourse🙄Disconecting battery can lock the radio/CD unit(antithief )

@@NastyMosquito Update! : The problem was not that the radio was locked ; a burnt out fuse in the speaker system was the culprit. Long story short: I had to break down and take it to my “friendly neighborhood MB dealer “for the main problem, which was the wiring under the passenger seat burnt out, which also killed the brand new battery I had purchased. So, they replaced the wiring harness under the seat, battery and the fuse in the speaker system. It set me back about $1600.00 including parts and labor. Yeah, that hurt, but I got my car back and my tunes and she’s going strong. Hey, thanks for the input, Bro.

try unplugging the fuse for the radio for 5 minutes then plugging it back in. You will need your radio code after inserting it.

inside lights could be a blown fuse... It also could be a blown bulb. However, if all the lights are out its probably a blown fuse. The seat is not moving back and forth? Or seat warmer isn't working? Seat not moving back and forth could also be a bad fuse or bad motor in the seat. Start by looking at your fuses.

the seats are not moving back and forward also the front and back wipers.all stop at the same time

Hmmm... Best to start by addressing one issue at a time. Fuse chart should be located in your trunk on top of the spare. It will show you the location of each fuse for these components that are missing. Check each fuse by pulling it and looking at the fuse. I usually use a continuity reading on my volt-meter

Dj, Did you ever figure out if it was the amp? I have a 08 gl450 everything turns on as its should. But no sound. 2 year's ago i noticed once it started to get cold the unit would not pick up the signal but after the car warmed up about a half hour it would kick on. In the summer, no issues. Just curious if you figured out your problem.
