The landrover throws a restricted performance code and goes into limp home when the turbo intercooler hose splits, there’s like 16 psi on the hose on the Landry and can be temporarily repaired with cutting hose and fitting plastic pipe internally and adding some hose clamps. New hose was closer to aud150. Good work Ed👍

Great diagnosis and video. Did you have any check engine light, loss of performance or limp home mode? Asking because of the condition of the hose you removed. What is the mileage? I doubt the other hose is starting to get a bit wet but no splashing yet.

Hi - no, no symptoms other than the oil leak. It was around 45,000 miles.

Could be your egr valve where it goes into engine.

The egr is located next to the turbo. The metal pipe where the intercooler hose attaches is the throttle body.
