Great manual skills, and not at all afraid of facing anomalous situations that arise while doing these jobs. You did great! It is important to tighten the arms with the machine on a horizontal plane (as you did). An important rule, however, is always and only with torque wrenches, therefore tightening to torque values would be better because those screws are important (all screws are important). Fixed wrenches are the disease of mechanics. Illness also means death of the mechanics, especially on these anchoring systems (arms, shock absorbers, engine and gearbox) Lots of rust under this Mercedes, streets full of sales for sure. and 20 years of car with use of water, sale, fog etc..! Then in those years Mercedes had lost a bit of orientation on bodywork treatments (the W203 is very sensitive to this) Anyway well done (good job) great job

Nothing wrong with your workmanship that's called experienced know how to get yourself out of situations working on rusty bolts and old cars a art that's been lost on younger mechanics I see coming through that's called quality pride in workmanship

@@danielgreenbaum8875 Nice to hear your story buddy. I started working on my own cars 14 years ago as I got scammed by the local VW dealer. After that day I never went back to a dealership and started educating myself to work on my own cars. I am really interested to learn more about diagnostics and solving electrical problems. I want to learn how ECUs work so I can get a better understanding how to trace problems when they happen.

@@TheKeenMechanic I think he asked you how long they last (how many km the arms can cover) and how many km the ones removed had (of course the duration depends on the roads travelled, but it's up to you)
