How do you put back the bracket that holds the bumper with the fender? Is it easy? Is it like a clip in? Great Instructional video by the way! :D

xXmanonfaceXx Thank you :) The bracket is a little tricky. There is a slot where it slides in the bumper. You will have to put the front end of the bracket first all the way in, and after that push the rear end. It is a little tricky but you should be able to do it without any problems. Make sure that there is no mud or sand on the inner side of the fender and the bumper!

Remember, some of these models have a bad balance shaft. The teeth on the sprocket wore down prematurely and will cause loss of power, and bad timing. I learned the hard way about this. I have 2006 C230 and it costs $4,000 to fix it. I still drive the car, check engine light on - 2 codes - I forget which ones but they're timing codes. Don't buy a used MB before you investigate this. Mine had 60k miles when I bought it, discovered the problem at 115k, now has 160k miles. It has very little power from stand still but it drives okay - I have to floor the gas pedal to get it to go.

Talk about over engineered! Why does Mercedes have to make this shit so difficult? Most other vehicles dont require you to remove the bumper to change a headlight. Mercedes always has to be extra with that shit. Just like with the spare tire. These fools designed a spare tire that cant use the factory lug nuts. Like wtf is that all about. They give you a separate set of lug nuts specifically for the spare, which is dumb. Hopefully previous owners or mechanics/ roadside assistants have not lost the spare lugs.
