You're right, it’s a very simple song, but because Juan Gabriel took just a segment of an original, longer, song of his, from the 90s, and turned it into this beautiful thing. The original one is called "Lentamente" (Slowly) and it's a long precious story about falling in love with one's true love. It lasted like 7 minutes!

you were right with the meaning of the poco a poco part of the song, the most lovely part of the song for me is the "puedo decir que por fin ya no vivo por vivir" it literally translate to " i can finally say that I do not longer live just to live" meaning that loving each other had gave to them meaning to their life their life is no longer meaningless

Wow. As you said, so simple, but so beautiful. I really enjoyed this one, especially on this rainy, gloomy day. Btw, it's never too late to start learning a language. I just started my own slow process of learning German last year and it feels really nice knowing that it's only for my own pleasure even though I am really slow. I also used to speak a bit of Spanish but I notice that I forgot a lot, so we could learn it together. 😉😊🖤 It is so beautiful language that you will feel true happiness even if you learn just the basics.
