I was at that concert, it was awesome, please do Sky Blue from the Growing Up tour the build up and the climax are on another planet. Peter Gabriel is totally unique in every way. Thank you.

Sometimes I feel live concerts brings the song farther away from you, sometimes closer. In this one, I would recommend the album! As well as "In your eyes", although the live performance were amazing!

I remember buying this album new and being stunned by this song--its honesty, brutality, humanity. I loved him with Genesis, but his solo career presented a wider emotional range (not a criticism of Genesis) in an unafraid way!

Gabriel's lyrics are often deep, can have a multiple meanings, and if you listen they make you think. Some of his music is quite edgy and sinister sounding ("shut up and drive! This time you've gone too far"). He can also be very dramatic. Would you say 'Shock the Monkey' is "enjoyable"? Time to check out Genesis. (they have a LOT more than pop music, btw)

I was very lucky... I was at this show... it was phenomenal in the auditorium. It was from the "So" album anniversary tour. So he got the drummer, bassist and guitarist that he used on that album to tour with him... Absolutely sublime concert experience.

OMG I just realized that it has been ten years since I saw him at this tour. Manu Katché (drums) was over the top - as always. The lights and video show perfect - as always too.

At that time it was a surprising single that gained in format with repeated listening. The song is barely recognizable in this newer live version; pity too many technical instruments offsetting the warmth of the text which I miss here. PG is mostly brilliant, but sometimes sh..; sometimes he lacks a strong counterpart, i.e. a fellow musician. Please listen to the original or the Secret Word version and you will understand me..✌
