Interesting talking points and much validity to the topic at hand, but is there air, water, soil, analytical data available to share? Is there background surveys taking place, what's the average pH of the rain compared to the rest of the country/surrounding area? Engineers and environmental scientists can figure this all out and come up with a solution, but it won't be cheap.

Interesting, there is a power plant at Ma Mot in northern Thailand this plant services the north of Thailand and it is between Lampang and Chang Mai not sure what type of coal it uses .

It is only 20 kilometers from the border. In the middle of nowhere in Laos The main wind flow here is from the northeast. It means Thailand is the one affected.

Steam from the BIG stacks, burn't coal emissions from the skinny stack. In regards to the Data is the burning season being taken into consideration? with crops being burnt and residual herbicide and insecticides going into the Atmosphere via smoke and heat rising etc etc. These all need to be taken into account. Also are those coal fumes being "scrubbed/treated" with new technology?
