Great video. My 2010 Tohatsu 2 stoke has external adjustments if needed, but I never used them. To late now you done a great job. Depending what the handle is made from you could of used a 3 finger puller taken the load and light heated then pulled it could free it up, maybe. Good to see that you boat is still going. I like the start the videos.

Glad you made that video. I’m in the same boat. Mine s stuck in neutral because that pin slides around and sticks so the button won’t pop out. What is the proper way to get handle off? Also does the one you bought fit your cables? Not sure about gen 1 or gen 2.

Try heat. Pb blaster. And maybe some sort of puller

Yeah it worked out fine. Definitely not oem quality but it works.

When I press my advanced throttle button and try to engage shifter it doesn’t want to go forward. Any idea why? If I disassemble should I be able to see the issue?

Yes. I’d pull it apart so you can physically see what’s happening with those arms when you try to engage.
