This fangame might be the best. Atleast to me. Kris has a set persona, while Frisk has a 2-way interpretation. Kris will determine how the game will play out, how they will talk (in a softer or louder tone, depending on choice), and how their expression will be. Frisk can go Pacifist or Genocide according to the players action, and their personality will be set on which path the player chose first; kind, graceful, and merciful, or cruel, soulless, and merciless. I feel like manipulating Noelle will be the breaking point for Kris

Unless they want to paint Kris as a bit of a puppet master, I can't see Chapter 2 Susie killing just cos Kris told her to. It would be really cool if Susie rebelled against them, and they end up in a fight against Susie (with some cool version of VS. Susie in the battle, maybe even a similar gimmick to that fight where Susie hesitates to kill Kris). Feel the true pain of the No Mercy route!

Speaking of the Earthbound text box, don't know if this was mentioned but the way the characters pop their heads up over their stats during battle when it's their respective turns looks exactly like how Mother 3 battles look, which I'm sure is also intentional.

This is a great crossover fangame. The writing’s solid and keeps in character, the combined battle system is smart and innovative, and the original music is - as always - a banger! Hope to see this surpass the demo state in the coming months and not stop development. Clever reference there with the ‘because [I] can, [I] have to’ line. Also, we’re not into the ‘devour’ act ‘round these parts (no matter how much you want that [sweet, sweet] Kris-Cross-Carrotsauce!).

I said recently in the first video for this but will say again while this is fresh that this is genuinely well-made and hope it doesn't fall into dev limbo/hell like a couple other ambitious-seeming and also really good AU fangame demos Maergx played on this channel never to be heard from again (both ended at around Toriel's home - the Underfell one with the detailed ruins, cursed [in a good way] looking Toriel and a friendly Flowey following you around with a lot of dialogue and loredumps, and there was some weird, interesting tree at some point...) (...the other being the Horrortale mod with the detailed and adorable sprite of the MC (forgot her name), begins with the one-eyed, also friendly Flowey being incinerated by Toriel, and her killing everything in her path while guiding you as your terrified character changes expression, but mostly remains fearful of everything)

I thought it would have been an amazing detail if Noelle freaked out when you found her. Think about it, if you're committing genocide in this game you PROBABLY did Snowgrave, and she DOES ask if she's dreaming again which shows this game happens after Cuberworld canonically. Just a thought.
