Interesting! I just bought one. For how long should you use it on each point? How many times per day or week is recommended for best result? How do I know when to stop? Is it possible to overdo it? Does it matter if you are tired or hungry or full when going to use it? Other practical points you think is usefull to know?

This pen took away the tingling feeling I had in my pinkie and ring finger on my right hand. It came one day in my ring finger, then the numb and tingling feeling started to go into my pinkie and then I noticed it was slowly starting to spread to the base of my middle finger. I bought one of these pens off of eBay and when it got here, I immediately used it on my ring finger. I did it twice over two days and the next day when I woke up, everything was gone, no tingling and numbness anymore. Whatever this pen did to my nerves, it made me have feeling in that area again. Before, when I would touch my ring finger, I couldn't feel that. I suffer from carpal tunnel. I got injured in 2006 from repetitive use of my right wrist. I don't work at that place anymore, so I don't overuse my wrist now, but every so often I will overuse it doing things at home. Recently, the nerve in my right elbow has been bothering me. I am going to use my pen to make it go away. The pain in my elbow isn't bothering my hand but I do feel some tightness and pulling in my wrist. The points that the doctor pointed out are places that, in the past, swelled up or hurt. So yeah, hitting those areas with the pen would give relief. I only wish I would have found this pen a lot sooner to have helped me with the pain back in 2006.

Beyond any shadow of a doubt this is a fascinating (and low cost) item which produces very noticeable effects. BUT are these effects ACTUALLY BENEFICIAL?
@thenaturalbodyworks4 жыл бұрын
THAT is the 50,000 dollar question. It can help people locate better a muscle, tendon, ligament or meridian point issue. That is kind of the whole idea of the videos. I want people to be able to better communicate with their bodies. It can, in fact, help the muscles release lactic acid as it helps the muscle 'pump' out that stagnant tissue and get more fresh blood in. Some times there is even a gate effect that sedates the nerve itself. Better research is really needed. At this time it is basically empirical.

@slepping74312 жыл бұрын
Acupuncture pens are mobile devices which are used for “electroacupuncture”. This is a made-up term for sciencey sounding mumbo-jumbo with no proof of action or expectation of effectiveness behind it. There is a medical term for what it does. The term is transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS). TENS machines do have a proven track record whereas acupuncture doesn’t. If you use an acupuncture pen using acupuncture methodology (using “meridians” and other associated flim-flam) you may trigger a TENS reaction by pure dumb luck. On the other hand, if you use it according to TENS methodology then you should be using a TENS machine instead.

Magnesium, Coenzim Q10 and vitamin C supplements are recommended in migraines. It's already known to avoid harmful foods. In addition I read the following post on Reddit, you can find the full version at the link below. I copy paste the short versiyon of article here and I hope it works for you: www.reddit.com/r/migraine/comments/avicpu/turmeric_curcumin_cured_my_migraine/ Treatment plan After many years in pain, I found a cure in turmeric and ginger, this is the treatment plan I followed: Prophylactic treatment: 250mg. pure turmeric capsules (no black pepper, no vitamins, nothing, just turmeric); Take 1 capsule every 12 hrs. (2 times a day) for 3 months, then rest for 1 month and then restart for another 3 months... Take it for up to a year this way and restart after this period if needed. Abortive treatment: 250mg. pure ginger (nothing else) capsules; Take 2 capsules (500mg) just before the attack (when you're having the aura) Pain treatment: Once the prophylactic treatment starts to take root (after the first three months or so); any NSAID should do (yes, really!); Personally I now get headaches very seldom (and virtually no migraines!) but, in the rare cases I get to have some headache, I now take 200-400mg ibuprofen (according to the severity of the pain) and such headache goes away. Crisis treatment: If you were to have a migraine crisis (and I'd define a crisis like a very severe episode and/or a migraine that does not goes away after a 8 hours or so, no matter if you already took your abortive medication and your painkiller); You can rely on ginger to help you out of this state too, just start taking 1 250mg ginger capsule every 8 hours for 3 days. Don't stop taking the turmeric and, (if, and just if) you haven't abused of painkillers up to that point, you can combine this with your usual pain medication for quicker recovery. Short-Circuit treatment: Following up on the previous point, after the three days taking ginger that way, if the crisis continues (even if it's not at a full potency and/or you have no headache but you're still having other migraine symptoms) keep taking 500mg. ginger every morning after waking up for up to a week, this should short-circuit the "migranous" state. Once the crisis passes, you can now resume taking ginger only as an abortive (as indicated above), and always, always keep taking you prophylactic turmeric treatment during these times. Extra information Safety indications Please verify that you're taking only pure ginger and turmeric for your treatment. Many sellers and brands have these supplements but they add vitamins, black pepper or combine them both. What I'm recommending according to my experience is to take the pure supplements (pure turmeric, pure ginger) with nothing added to them. Now, these are just supplements (not "medications" per se) and their use is responsibility of those who recommend and use them. Please keep in mind that even though they're natural (both things are just roots); You'll have to suspend the treatment if: You find some sensibility to such supplements (allergies for example); And (in the case of ginger) consult with your physician before taking it if you have some underlying cardiovascular condition(s). Also, Try to not exceed a recommended maximum daily intake of 1 Gram of any of the supplements (turmeric, ginger) in the course of a day. Monitoring and variations Y'all know that with migraines, most of the treatments rely on experimentation. Regulating doses, adding some other medications, etc. Well, here you can do the same, and I'll tell you how: Test the treatment as stated above for up to three months non-stop, follow the instructions religiously to the letter. Why? well, Because if you find out that you're getting better one month in, it is possible that it is just a placebo effect. 3 months is the minimum therapeutic window to see if something is actually working or not. If after three months you are: Getting better (and better) Well, just keep following the treatment verbatim Getting somewhat better, (but not in a very tangible way) Then you can do some variations on the treatment. Such variations are: Start increasing your turmeric intake: Up to 1 Gram a day. Wait for three months and observe your results; If needed, switch to the next variation. Start using turmeric mixed with black pepper: This particular supplement is very famous, this is because turmeric has almost no absorption on its own (bioavailavility is close to 4% or so); Black pepper can increase such bioavailavility up to 10x. Again, wait for three months and observe your results... Word of caution for black pepper enhanced supplements: As black pepper accelerate absorption of compounds in the body, it can disrupt the therapeutic properties/behavior of some meds (and other supplements), so make sure you take your black pepper + turmeric supplement with at least 2 hours buffer before or after taking any other supplement and/or medication. Not getting better (at all) If this is your case three months in, try with the variations... If those do not work, then this treatment is not for you and sadly, you'll need to look elsewhere. Such is life. Migraine can have many reasons to be there. This will help some, but maybe not others.

Is it safe to use it on forehead?
@thenaturalbodyworks4 жыл бұрын
I think you should try and video it. At a minimum it will be entertaining. It is ok to use on the forehead. There are nerves close to the surface there and you are likely to get a real jolt through the nerve. It is harmless though ... I hope... ;-)

Unfortunately it seems there are many many knockoffs as well as other designs. I would also try and get one a little more locally.

When i was using it on my husband i could feel the shock in the hand I was holding it in. I could see my arm was pulsing. Is this supposed to happen? I thought the pulse should be happening on him not me.

i have varicose veins. isn't it better to put this right on the swollen veins?
@thenaturalbodyworks4 жыл бұрын
That will probably hurt and not do too much to help, getting the surrounding muscles to relax may take pressure off those veins. Supplements can help, you should see a provider for better details on those. Good luck,

@@III_Eagle_III actually I do notice a big difference. I have been doing neck and between my neck and shoulder also between my should blades with the help of someone and the massive headaches have been greatly reduced. I only used the pen on the "3" setting. I will keep using it. I have also been doing some back stretching every morning its meant to help take some stress off the upper half oof you body. also try where the bottom of your neck meets, those tendons cramp up as well.

It can really help. Get heat on it first to open the blood and fluids up in the area and use this. I am making more videos on this too...

I got one and I'm scared to use it 😂 I suffer from disease and many issues I dont even know of yet. I notice painful and "jumping" or twitching under my Left eye. In my face. Idk if its nerves or what. I stress alot and have severe anxiety
@halil.yuksel4 жыл бұрын
I suggest you get a blood test first. Twitches on your face may be caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. This may also increase anxiety. I suggest you use vitamin B12, vitamin D and Magnesium supplements for both physical and psychological recovery. It would be great to increase your blood vitamin B12 level to at least 750-800 (ideal 1000), vitamin D level to at least 70-80 (ideal 100 but above 80 you must take vitamin D supplements which containing vitamin K2) and magnesium levels to 2.25-2.5. You're probably all missing all these. However, a quality night sleep, fighting against stress by praying worshipping or using methods such as meditation, healthy and natural eating, and at least 30 min brisk walking or jogging regularly will eliminate many of your problems without meditation. Get well soon.
