Hey, I have been working on myself for a few years now and I started taking mushrooms which seemed to make my brain strive for the correct posture while walking, sitting, playing instruments 🎹 etc and yoga. I broke my toe when I was 11 (who cares eh?), well I didn’t let it heal and I walked in the side of my foot and this became normal. My big toe was numb and my foot was like half the size of the other where the muscle is by the ankle. I’m 29 now and I’ve been strengthening my foot for about 4 months, which has become a full pelvic engagement training including deep breathing which senses your feet against the ground to activate muscles inside the leg and inside the pelvis. It’s become pretty much all I think about. The increased strength transfers directly to better music, meditation and running and gumming. My studies on myself say that the areas of the brain that “feel” the support of your feet on the ground are the same areas that feel security in general. I’m becoming stronger every day. So my advice is to become CONSCIOUS of your feet for a while and I think your life will rapidly improve. You might find your posture becoming the most important thing in your life until it’s unconsciously perfect. And if you want a boost - golden teachers will show you the way. Love 💚

Try using foot soaks you buy from Wal mart or other online places. You wear them an hour or so (or longer if you want) they are like plastic socks with a solution that will melt away callouses over a week or so after wearing. I put them on and cover with regular socks for at least 2 hours. If you have dense callouses it may take several soaks. Work great and your feet will be soft and easy to massage.

I have been a long believer that if a person’s health isn’t good it will show up in the feet. Summertime, sandal season, I can’t help it I will look at feet lol. You put them on display I’m lookin 🤷‍♂️😂. If they’re dry, cracked, look fungal/infected, like gout, or gangrenous the person is generally overweight and/or has a multitude of things goin on. My feet look and feel like they did when I was a teenager and that was over a half a lifetime ago for me. I’m grateful and they’re a measuring stick to me to know I am eating good enough, getting enough exercise, and staying healthy. If you got feet problems it’s the body talkin. It’s a good idea to listen when it does.

Recognized by who? You and other gullible people? That is what you're happy about? Wow Reflexology is an alternative medicine system that claims to treat internal organs by pressing on designated spots on the feet and hands; there is no anatomical connection between those organs and those spots. Systematic reviews in 2009 and 2011 found no convincing evidence that reflexology is an effective treatment for any medical condition.

even if you don't believe in reflexology, it is related to self care which there are many methods. I am willing to try anything if suffering (Easter or Western methods). I used to take a bath everyday due to arthritis but it gave me other benefits (relaxation, etc.). But I have trouble getting up/down on floor now, so I stopped taking baths. So my feet weren't getting proper care with only taking a shower, but I don't like the foot bath pans. So I bought a Shower Bath tub wood bench stool, now I can sit in the shower for long periods, and I got a luffa sponge that is on a long wooden handle, so I can now rub on feet and lower legs, it really had made a big difference in my overall feeling better, sleeping better. I also have anxiety and insomnia, so if I am too wired up but need to rest, I sleep in a reclining chair (there are many kinds), but I prefer a zero gravity reclining lawn chair that i added memory foam padding/neck pillow/micro fiber blanket, the chair and foam padding cost me less then $80, and when I am not using it, I can just fold it up and put in closet or corner, so it isn't taking up a lot of space like a standard recliner.

john, We all have our problems yet seem to be now more than ever isolated with them also. I just wanted to reach out and say, hi, I love that you got your stool and your long loogah to take care of your feet. I find listening to quiet sleep tones can help with sleep lots here on YT. I have just recently put blocks at the top end of my bed so that I am sleeping with feet lower (counter intuitive I know) on a slight incline as most wild animals are said to sleep, it seems to help & is said to help keep the blood flowing and mucus draining away from the brain at night. I just want you to know that really like your calm & practical approach. lots of love & keep taking care of yourself 😊❤

You still have to be careful about sanding down your feet or toes...I can't do this with mine, right from a special for the feet. Because I danced with high heels and walked to much with them in my earlier years, it damaged my feet. So now I put foot cream every single day, so I can walk a bit and yet I need special shoes now as well. Yes, feet are important to live a good life. Your feet carrying your whole body gets a role on it all. Yes, posture is of most importance in order to have a straight body.

Hatha is written with a /th/ but it’s pronounced /t/, so it’s /ha-ta/. The heel at the perineum is practiced in one variation of Sukhasana, a seated posture, and it doesn’t really matter if it’s Hatha or Vinyasa or any other kind of yoga. They all teach variations of Sukhasana, especially at the beginning or the end of yoga practice. So whatever kind of yoga you discover for yourself, you won’t miss out on that posture. Take care! 🌷☀️

It would have been nice if we could see that sitting position in detail the Yogi was talking about. I tried to figure it out and couldn't. The other person they showed sitting in a lotus position didn't have his feet under him as was supposedly described by the Yogi. Luckily, I am a Reflexologist and love the idea of adding the great toe massage where that master was showing us.

Thank you for giving credit to the true roots of Yoga, the Yogis and enlightened beings of India. Many "Modern Yogis" want to claim it as their own without giving credit where credit is due. They are only hurting themselves - since it is known that respect for the root is essential to gain the fruit.

Bad for your knees? Never heard that one before. I think about the different Asian cultures where squatting is highly common, we can see 80+ year olds squatting while working with something on the ground. I would think sitting cross legged would be similar. But it’s your body, and you know what works best for you.

For millions of years we walked bare footed , all the energetic forces of the earth passing through us. So if you were full of positive energy the earth would balance us out. If we were full of negative energy, the earth would balance us out again. But in the modern era we rarely touch the earth, and depend on artificial ways of finding that balance, such as a shower, or a walk in the rain. To stay off balance, you will not feel good and will actually see sparks come from where we touch our bodies to ground. So every once in a while go bare footed and walk around, it would do you wonders.

@lewisedwardson7776
@lewisedwardson7776 2 жыл бұрын
@@1100BFK Being stronger and healthier doesn't mean being younger. At a young age, if you are healthy, you can heal faster and recover from injury faster. As you get older, it takes longer to recover, and you have a higher risk of lasting handicap from injury. You have to make more effort to not injure yourself while you are training. If you are dedicated and careful, you can continue to build muscle and still end up stronger and faster in your thirties than you ever were by having more muscle or less fat, by training your muscle fibers to be more responsive, by practicing your movements to be more efficient, and by honing your skills to be more precise. You can become better through effort. But in your early 20's, you can make mistakes, overexert yourself, injure yourself, and wake up the next day like nothing happened. Before I was 22, I used to almost never wake up the next day impaired by the previous day. There were times as a kid I'd been beaten on the concrete for half an hour, with a concussion and my entire body bruised and dark, and a couple hours later my skin looked normal and I felt fine. At work in the early years I could injure my leg at 9 AM, continue to unload trucks, carry 80 lb boxes, and move thousands of pounds of stuff one box at a time by hand, then move on to do the rest of my job, work all day, go home, and on the way get in a fight that lasts for several minutes of constant blows, and still wake up the next day feeling fine. I'm not saying every day went like that, I didn't go looking for fights and I didn't usually injure myself at work, but I did have a day exactly like that, among other days where I'd injured and exerted myself, and I still always used to wake up with no symptoms of injury the next day. I healed incredibly fast and I was pretty much always in condition and ready to work, even if I'd been working all day and it was 2 AM. I could recover without even needing a rest day. Now? I'm only 27, but any time I work hard or exercise, I feel it for the rest of the day, I wake up the next day feeling it, and sometimes I still feel it days later. And if I have to work through it, the pain stays, and I don't recover until I get a day of rest. When I get a bruise now, I still have yellow discoloration in the area 1-2 days later now. And if I get an injury, sometimes I still feel it days later, sometimes even weeks later. I am confident that with dedication, I could still get stronger than I ever was before and set new personal records, but I don't expect my fast healing to come back. I have to be more careful about my techniques and movement now because if I injure myself, I could end up making the next few days difficult. That wasn't a problem before.

This year, my dad turned 100, my mom turned 90. They give our Creator the credit. Their minds are still good, tho mom is showing some real memory loss after vaccine injury this year (myocarditis and possible blood clots in the legs). They stayed married, cared for their parents (their mothers both lived to 96), they acknowledge Jesus, pray, they live simple, humble lives and were not afraid of all the fear mongering that goes on in news, especially during pandemic bc they have faith God is in control. Some call this a crutch, well ok, sure it is and a crutch supports u and we all need support and love, those are like fuel for a machine. We run on Holy Spirit fuel best. Not saying it doesnt help, but my dad has never rubbed his toes.

@Shalini Oh Dear! I recently experienced a nervous breakdown for the first time in my life, it was triggered by a great loss, lack of trust in govt, and I got the latest mutation of the virus. I have always had faith to keep me resilent and strong, and I rebound quickly, but after 3 weeks, I panicked that I was never going to be myself again. I went into survival mode for a month and ate only God-made food, no sugar or packaged foods, but seeds, nuts, vegetables, fruit, meat fish, eggs, and a bit of cheese. I had no appetite, so I ate 2 handfuls of food each day, to survive. I took lots of vitamin d, zinc, functional mushrooms, flax seed, turmeric, chia seeds, quercetin, herbal teas, fish oil, and 6 or more glasses of water, and I did my own communion service each morning with a tiny piece of cracker and 1 shot of red wine and forced myself to say communion and added "this is the day that God has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it" tho I felt no gladness. I did not sleep during the day tho exhausted, I forced myself out in the sun to do yard work and walked twice a day and kept busy all day and evening, so when I went to bed at 10pm I did sleep all night, tho I woke up always exhausted. I fought my own mind to push fear and doubt away. I stated God's promises over and over in my head, I only watched things on tv that are wholesome and good. I reached out to people and told them honestly what was happening to me, and they all supported me and I thanked them and thanked God for them. I also took cbd oil with the lowest thc so there is no high, just the oil from the plant, and I felt something release in my mind and body, it took the anxiety down a bit, so my mouth was no longer dry. I believe fish and cbd oil are for us what lubrication is for an engine, we must have good oils in our body. I consulted the bible, prayed and boldly asked others to pray for me. I listened to ocean waves or healing frequencies throughout the night. After a month, I began to recover and I'm am restored! Thank God!! We all will die, and one day I know I will face those awful feelings again then, perhaps, but until then, fight like a soldier on the battle field, fight every day with God's help to find people who have natural medicine first to try and sound advice (there are unsound natural approaches to medicine too, so ask God for discernment), control your thoughts by pushing away fear and negatives, have simple, humble faith that you must rejoice, even in suffering, bc God has plans we dont understand even when we feel terror. I feel now my experience was perhaps to help better understand others who have breakdowns and perhaps help them by passing on what helped me. Research your symptoms and ask God to lead you to the right advice and then do it and if it is helping you in a natural, gentle way, not a synthetic way that gives your more negative symptoms, then discipline yourself to do those things. If there is a sin you struggle with and have not been baptized, get baptized to receive the Holy Spirit of God and then ask God to help you through His spirit. I will pray for you, ask others to also. Peace of Christ to you, soldier.

@@khloe38 Stop all sugar if she can and use Good Oils! Fish oil helps my brain feel at ease and they take it too. Now I've added cbd oil (to my shock), but it has almost zero thc, so no high from it, just the plant's oil. We need good oil in the body just like and engine needs lubrication, many North Americans are inflamed in the body and sugar rots the brain and feeds cancer. My parents eat a small amount of food, the same thing, same time each day: granola with bran buds & milk, ground seeds like flax on it too, diluted cranberry juice, 1 coffee (instant, yuck) one takes cream the other doesnt, sandwich or soup for lunch, snack of bran muffin or apple sauce, meals on wheels suppers w vegetables, meat or fish, dessert rarely, glass white wine w supper and brandy before bed. They had fresh gardens all their life until dad was in his 80's (he lived outside working in all elements and has always been fit and strong) but I think the discipline to get up each morning and repeat the pattern has benefits and I think my Dad is possibly still here and of sound mind to keep my mother company bc she is basically a saint and I really think God has given her his company to reward her selfless service to everyone else, but that's just my theory.

I was sent for X-rays and Vitamin D test. I never got any feedback (UK National Health Service for you). Two weeks ago, I received a letter referring me to Clinicians (whatever that means). shortly after this, I embarked on intermittent fasting, 4 days in to the fast, I embarked on a 36 hour water fast. Suffice it to say, the pain in my soles has dropped by 90%, my knees are no longer painful, although they are still creaking and I've lost 20 pounds!! I still have 50 pounds to go but I am optimistic!

All yold me there is no connection between the sensation in my foot/ feet and my shoulders, but on many occasions i noticed when my feet began to frel.looser i immediately felt my head, neck and back loosen. Western medical for thr most part is oblivious to ehats right in front of them. Now im taking reflexology more serious. And it makes perfect sense that out feet and head need to be connected and have s clear route of communication, because its how we keep out balance. Without out the constant feedback we would fall all the time. Duh
