This had so much potential. Look at all the respect and loyalty shining in their eyes. Knowing they were each other's demise, this scene brought tears to my eyes. like ACTUAL fucking TEARS. WHAT WAS BBC THINKINKING DELETING THIS SCENE?!!?!?!?!

Morgana suffered a lot because she is a seer Merlin didn't teach Morgana because he was told of what she was destined to do Merlin didn't trust Mordred because he saw a prophecy of him killing Arthur Merlin saw a prophecy of Morgana trying to kill Uther but the efforts he made to stop it IS what made it happen Morgana saw visions about Emrys killing her which made her panic and want to get rid of him which led her to trap him in that cave which actually made him even stronger and enabled him to KILL HER Morgana tried to prevent Arthur from marrying guinevere , after she saw her become queen , but her attempt to break the relationship made it stronger The lesson that shoulb be learned is that humans must be aware of how blessed they are for not being able to predict the future

Mordred wasn't loyal to anyone He joined Morgana then betrayed her for Arthur then joined Morgana again. If you know someone has betrayed someone else don't expect them to change for you

People need to stop sticking up for mordred. He was wrong for turning on Arthur. Arthur rightfully executed someone dangerous who tried to assassinate him! And she wasn’t remorseful in the slightest even though he gave her chances to repent. He did what any king would do and Mordred STILL betrayed him!!! Arthur also killed the love of merlin’s life. Did you see him hold a grudge? No, because unlike Mordred he realised it’s what Arthur had to do and it was necessary. I’ll never understand this fandom’s obsession with victimising mordred. He was a flip flopper. He betrayed morganna in the beginning by stabbing her and then he betrayed Arthur in the end by stabbing him. Never trust someone who earned your trust by betraying someone else!! Period

@@cheflaila309 easy with the horses. you won't find me advocating for Mordred being a victim or wronged by Merlin. However, it would have been nice if the writers gave Mordred a more convincing cause to defect into Morgana's camp again and kill Arthur than a fleeting/past love who was given all the clemency for attempted regicide you could wish for and still hellbend on killing his king he had sworn to protect and proclaimed to love too.
