What about the 8 x 10? What about the 4 X10 by 1X15…? I personally own the 4X12 and I love it.

I have 2 Mesa Powerhouse 4x10 cabs and powering them with an Ampeg SVT-7 Pro. Should I daisy chain the two cabs or run them separately through the individual outputs?

Good demo. The 2x10 & 1x15 sounds great. I'd like to hear some fingerstyle metal demos with these. Pretty solid demo as far as different techniques... just my two cents but I'd like to hear someone playing fast fingerstyle metal lines.. like Steve DiGiorgio or Alex Webster. I'm thinking of either going Peavey for Mesa for my next bass setup.. perhaps an M9 carbine.

you said the 2x10 is 600W handling capacity, but the website says 400W RMS.... which is it?

Hi CE750 - At the time of the recording, the cabs were 600 watts. They are now 400 watts.

MESA/Boogie why the change I'm curious? Moreover, how does that affect the tone of the cab vs what is being heard on this demo? Maybe you guys should do another video like this demoing the new speaker?

HiCE750 - Change of manufacturer to Eminence. The new speakers sound VERY similar which is what we wanted to accomplish with the new manufacturer - speakers sounding the same! The lower wattage handling capacity does NOT affect tone and unless you are using a small cabinet at levels beyond where you should be. The golden rule of bass... Always bring enough cabinet to the gig if you want to own the low end on that gig. ;) New demos of our cabinets is on the list of videos to make for sure - thanks for watching!

I'm thinking about how a 1x15"/1x12" combo would sound like. I've heard 12"s and 10"s combined, but never a 15" and a 12"...

Am I the only guy who can tell these cabs/amp can't handle the low end??? Watch this guy baby pluck the lower strings and he still can't avoid the distortion. I suppose the lower end distortion could be from the amp, not sure. Either way.....no thanks!
