You are my fav crochet person on KZbin. I'm learning to crochet in memory of my late Nana who died a few weeks back. She never got to teach me to crochet, nor taught my mother...so no one to learn from! I find your tutorials really easy to follow. Thanks for all the fun patterns you put up for us, they are great!

The way you speak,minus the accent reminds me so much of my own mum. She's been gone for quite some time now~to hear the way you speak is very comforting. I'm known as nanakimmie on ralvery and to all my grandchildren. Thank you so much for the time you put into sharing with all of us. And thank you for a little nostalgia for myself.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I made this a couple years ago in royal blue and wore it over my swim suit to and from swimming pools until I put my suit away that fall. I had a physical setback early this year. Doctor prescribed water aerobics to aid my recovery and I'm wearing this again. Every woman in my water aerobics class loves it and has asked where I got it. Moms with kids in tow have stopped me in the parking lot to comment and ask questions about it. I tell everyone about your tutorials and how real and wonderful you are. Also, I carry my towels, water shoes, etc., in the Granny Square Bottom Bag, based on another of your tutorials. It's perfect for carrying everything I need to and from the car. I love how it lays open on a bench in the dressing/shower area at the pool and is so easy to fill and pick up. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials and fantastic ideas. Keep them coming. Best wishes, Kathy

I came across your tutorial for the mesh summer top and am having heaps of fun at the moment. Your instructions was clear and to the point. I am more then half way through my my top and hope to finish it by tomorrow night. Thanks for sharing, I will certainly follow you from this point forward.

HI there Measure your self around the biggest section :) add 6-10 inches (depending on how baggy you like it) fold tape measure in half Make a chain that is as long as the tape when it it folded in half So if the measurement is 54 inches + 6 = 60..... half of 60 is 30, make chain 30 inches Hope this helps you and thank you so much for watching me video Clare

hmmm good question.... So you are thinking of offsetting each row so you get a checkerboard effect instead of all the squares lining up? I think it may work making sure you always start with a treble and end with a treble...that way you have something to join the seams . Maybe work up a really small sample to see what happens ?

HI there, I am working on getting a written pattern done :)
@colette2345
@colette2345 10 жыл бұрын
I think I'm going to make this. It looks like the stitch pattern is begin with 2dtr then *4dtr skip 3 ch3 * repeated across then end with 2dtr in last 2 stitches. If that helps anyone. (American crocheting terminology uses the dtr to describe this stitch.) Just take your measurements, draw a picture of the shape of the tunic, then chain to the measurements. Work even until you get to the armholes. Decrease for armholes and work up to the top.

I always use the cc whenever I watch these videos because I am hard of hearing but whom ever is in charge of the cc should take a look at what is actually being typed. I just saw the worse one ever that said, ''don't kill the one that is going to f.....you fill in the other three letters. Something needs to be done. Most of the time the things that's typed has nothing to do with crocheting at all so I have to try and figure it out for myself. I love this site so please do something so that others that have a hearing problem can enjoy it as well.
@shebrat2005
@shebrat2005 10 жыл бұрын
Oh my! I turned on CC so I could see what you were talking about... it is REALLY bad! It's like the person who typed doesn't speak English very well and, then to amuse themselves, they add in curse words! I am really shocked. Other than that, this is my first time to watch a crochet video from bobwilson123 and I am very pleased. I am definitely going to bookmark this and watch more of these videos.
