It's original part. The mount is a replica to fit it under our 109.

This is great work and I'm sure like it! But two questions: If it's Emil model, then why there is curled wingtips like on Friedrich? Is there was reasons to use it?

Former builder Johann Dinkl choosed the round wingtips during build of the wings. We will see after first flights what to do;0))))

@@messerschmitt1936 For the movie 'Battle of Britain' they clipped the wings of the Hispano 'Messerschmitts' to make them look like the E-model of the Bf 109. I heard it influenced the flight characteristics in a negative way...

Google the Marcel Jurca page in France. They sell the warbird plans for FW 190 and Spit, Mustang, and some others in 80 and 100 % scale. Sadly, they do not sell the 109 plans anymore. Where is your homebase?

Such a magnificent replica. If this was built in 2016, I bet Christopher Nolan would’ve borrowed this for filming Dunkirk. Though I do hope there can be a full scale flying replica of a Ju-87 B and and a Messerschmitt 110.

Good oh! I was reading many years ago a book about the making of the 1969 film 'The Battle of Britain' and as you know the Spanish built Hispano Aviacion Ha-1112 are based on Bf 109-G6 airframes with a Merlin in place of the original DB engine. Apparently for the film they took off the rounded wingtips to make the Hispano's look a bit more like 109 Es which as you know had square wingtips. Apparently the removal of the rounded wing tips made no difference to the flight characteristics!

A lot of commendable work BUT not sure why its a mix of Me109E and F, has F fin, F wingtips, E cowling though there is much wrong with that, from gun troughs through to the slits and bulged area there, it follows White 14 flyer which is wrong in that area, 5 exhaust ports, carbuncles and more, its a mongrel in effect.

Eine Homepage dazu haben wir nicht, ich habe die Arbeit in einigen Videos festgehalten die man auf meinem Kanal hier sehen/finden kann. Auch gibt es Videos von Freunden die hier eingestellt wurden. Details kann man in drei Fotoalben auf Facebook auf meiner Seite finden. Ich müßte das mal zusammenfassen wenn ich Zeit haette;0)))) Gehe einfach auf Harald Wiegand bei Facebook und suche Dir die drei Alben heraus. Dann hast Du wesentliche Infos. Wir haben den Rumpf und die Flaechen mit etlichem Zubehör von einem sehr guten Freund zur Fertigstellung übernommen. Wir arbeiten zu zweit an den fehlenden Baugruppen und kommen recht gut voran. Es dauert halt - man muß alles selbst ausdenken, konstruieren und umsetzen.

one is 80% scale with 135 hp automotive 4 cylinder downgeared with fixed prop. Build by my very good friend Alex Stein. The yellow nose 109 is fullscale with 450 hp Chevy LS series V8, downgeared with variable prop. Both build in playwood with elements of glas or aluminium. Plans of the small one are by Alex himself. The fullscale is by plans of Marcel Jurca. A lot to design by yourself. Engine for example - there is nothing planned by Jurca......

@@stewartgrant9832 Dankeschön Stewart! There is a 80% replica with Rotax, yes. Build in Czech. I guess two exist. One is not airworthy after belly landing. Lost a propblade during flight some years ago. Near Berlin today in a privat-collection. When looking on my channel you will find also flights with my 80% replica. We hope to run the engine of the big one in summer.....

Very special orders only- yes;0)))))) We use a V 8 by airengine, downgeared, constant speed prop, turbocharged with 450 hp. Will be a little bit faster than a motorglider we guess.....

Looks great...Been following your page for a while. Why did you choose to go with late model wing tips, if you don't mind me asking? I was under the impression that the E had only the square tips. Is this aircraft built from the Jurca plans?

Dankeschön, JP;0)) Yes Jurca plans. He did a great job! Former builder Johann Dinkl did the fuselage and the wing. He decided to choose the round wingtips. We will find out some day after first flighttesting what to do. Maybe we let them as they are ...Flightcharacterists are better with these than the square....

@@markusbollenbacher225 bei technischen Problemen hilft oft ein gutes Gespraech mit einem erfahrenen Modellflieger! Die Randbögen werden erstmal falsch bleiben. Wenn wir mal in der Luft waren kann man mal sehen ob wir das aendern wollen. Meine V7 hat die richtigen geraden Randbögen einer B.

Sadly No. We still stuck in engine problems. Engine was running in the fuselage but it turned out that the both wrist pins at 3 pistons were forgotten to install at the factory......engine had big demage and we still search for spearpartnumbers of some parts.....

@@Franky46Boy The damage was not known about, until we mounted the engine into the taildragger. The angle made the wristpins mouving backwards and made deep scretches into three slaves during short testruns. The engine was running before in a teststand and in an other experimantal. The angle was 0° to the floor. The wristpins didn't move. The V8 was build up by engineair with parts from DART. That was 1999. Tooooo long ago to ask for any paying...... Runningtime is less than 13 hours until today. The V8 is in a repairshop now. New sleeves are fixed. We still need forward Crankshaft Seal, backward Crankshaft seal, Piston Wristpin Clips and complete Set of all Valve Stem Seals. DART was helpfull finding the sleeves, but we wait for the other partnumbers .....I don't know why?
