This is the way most of my projects go. I tried to put a simple pencil sharpener for my wife into the side of a particle board desk. The first cheap screw broke off when it was almost tight. I spent an hour looking through my hundreds of random screws I keep and finally found 3 screws that would work without having to drill out the holes in the sharpener body larger and that were not too long to go all the way out the other side of the cabinet. Two or Three hours later the sharpener was secured to the desks and ready to use. I had it for the day and spent the rest of the day eating and watching KZbin.
