I love when you do the chats at the end. It just makes you real and relatable. We do take our channels serious and care a lot about them and that's why it matters to us when we go off the grid for a while. Others may not get that. I appreciate the chat and I hope and pray for health and positive gradual changes for you and your family. 💕Tfs

Hi! So, I'm new to your channel but I feel quite a bit indebted to you, really. I struggle with several mental health issues that just suck the motivation to do anything, let alone clean, right out of me. I don't think I've cleaned my bedroom in at least two years. I don't have a healthy relationship with cleaning, either. I'm looking to change that. For the last several days, before I begin work on tackling this disaster, I have been watching 1 or 2 of your videos. I have to say that they really put me in the right mindset to get things done. You have become the catalyst pushing me to do better. I have, so far, made myself a weekly schedule of two small cleaning and organizing tasks each day and nearly completed work on my closet (just getting the trash and piles out from the floor and removing items that don't belong on my closet shelves). Your videos have really given me a level of hope that it IS possible for me to make a sustainable change in my life and living space. Thank you so much,

I'm right there with ya, Skye. Clinical depression with anxiety disorder. It's so hard to get up the desire to do much of anything. I'm so happy I found this channel as well!! She's so bubbly, even though she's dealing with so much in her life at the time of this video. Wow! I can fill half a garbage bag and purge 21 things a day 😄 I'm actually excited about cleaning and making my living spaces open and happy places for me to enjoy rather than sleep to avoid 😊 hang in there!

I feel like when your mind is cleaning up you are more eager to get up and clean up the house as well. Don't be so hard on yourself and take breaks as often as you want. Somedays when I am feeling very unmotivated I will clean for 10 minutes then take a break for 30 minutes. As long as it gets done and you have some time it will be okay. Don't consider it a chore just consider it "me-time" because when you finish cleaning you will feel amazing. And don't worry about throwing things out. The less things you have the cleaner your house will stay! :D

Cas, you never lose your ensemble of humor! I am a RN and worked in the ED over 18 years. I also was an IV Therapist for 8 years. Believe me when I say Milo should never had been stuck 10 times. They could have given him subcutaneous fluids. For fluids, kids love jello, puddings, milkshakes, Italian ice, sherbet etc. which are cool and soothing going down! When a child has a fever, their fluid requirements are so much greater. I agree with the others and you should call the hospital and speak with customer relations. Hoping Izzy is feeling better. Housework will be there tomorrow my friend. Take care of you and yours! 💕

I'm so sorry to hear what your family has been through lately! I'm a nurse in Australia and i have to say, at our kids ward, I have seen the same kind of practice... wrapping the child and keeping them stable while trying to get an IVC in. The only thing is that when the child becomes that distressed, I have seen them stop straight away! and try again later. You should write a reflection of what happened and send it to your hospitals complaints department but also, you could contact the nursing unit manager direct, and just tell them your experience. You could do it in a non aggressive way, but it's good for ALL nursing staff and medical staff to hear and improve their practice. I hope Milo is on the mend and take care of yourselves! Xoxoxox

I have come across many declutter and organizing people on youtube but I think I have found my favorite. I love how real you are. I have 8 kids myself and watching a video from someone who doesn't have any and things stay put when they put it there, makes it kinda hard to appreciate their expertise, suggestions or even help. I see me in you, when life happens especially with children as it does, it's nice to know how to keep a home and still make it through that day's storm. Your personality is infectious, uplifting and makes keeping a home a joyous occasion (Ok. I won't go that far just yet) Thank You!

I am so sorry to hear about all your families issues - as a Mom of a special needs child, caring for our little ones can be be utterly exhausting and emotionally draining. The last time my son had to have an outpatient procedure he had to come home with a prescription for the dreaded antibiotic which he HATES, This time around I just didn't have the strength to fight him in taking it, so we made a deal - after every dose he swallowed with no fussing he got to say the phrase "this medicine tastes like shit". At 9 years old that would make him smile, he got a free pass to swear once a day and there was no drama. Best deal I ever made with him. Sometimes you gotta just do what you gotta do to get through it and I hope that gave you a giggle.

Amazing you have been ill , dealing with ill children and you still somehow was able to be so make a really motivating video. Listening to you describe purging 21 items and collecting trash really made me want to start. Thank you for being so honest and sharing.

I'll be 55 this year and had my tonsils out 2 days after Christmas the year I was 10. I still remember how difficult it was to swallow and I didn't have all the trauma he did. I feel your pain. Hope everything improves quickly. Wishing all of you health!

There was one thing you said in this video that i have to thank you for, you said its also important to take care of your future self, i have never heard that before and its exactly what i needed today. I fall into this hole of stress and anxiety so often lately and im so down on myself that i just end up doing nothing at all. I have 2 toddlers and it is very overwhelming. The simplicity of your ideas and routines help me get through the day, one minute at a time. Thank you so much.

Wow! You went through all that, you survived it and found the bright side in most of it. Whatever excuse I used to use for not getting my house picked up or clean just went out the window. If you can stay on track through all that, then I just need to suck it up and clear the clutter. Thanks for being so honest and sharing your life, even the messy parts with all of us. You are one of the worlds best girlfriends. And you have so motivated me to live past a lifetime of genetic clutter. Thanks

Wow!! What a week! I thought mine was bad! You're a superwoman! ER, sick kids, sick yourself and you still manage to upload a video?? You're amazing!! No need to apologize! Thank you for showing us that even through tough times we can still get things done! And for sharing your motivation with us. After all this is done, you need to take a day off to take care of yourself. ❤️Lotsa love to you and your family!

I'm so sorry how much all of you had to go through. Thankful for the Ontario medical system and insurance to cover it, but indeed that situation with the IV sounds... well, not right. You had every right to lose your temper. As parents of a sickly kid, we spend too many late nights in the ER getting asthma therapy. We are thankful that everyone is very responsive related to breathing, and other, issues in a toddler and that we have met nothing but wonderful care givers.

Hi, my kids are adults and believe me I know what your going through when they are sick. I think it's harder on us moms. But when they are grown they won't remember being sick but will remember what a great mom you are. Hugs.

15 minutes a day. Sounds so simple as to be kinda silly. I love it. I wrote it & I'm doing it. Thank you! I'm 62 & learning from someone so young.
