Am I the only one who was wondering about how this could be used to drive electromechanical devices like prosthetics for amputees?

I keep questioning how much something like this would really improve things over simply improving the depth sensors and cameras on headset, plus including eye tracking. I get that they will improve things, but at what cost? and for the pain of having 2 more devices you have to charge and put on every time you want to use them. Personally I use VR for productivity (watching this in a Q3 right now via Immersed), I dont use the hand tracking on the Q3 because it's so buggy, but simply leave my controllers sitting on the desk and pick them up when I need them. Having wrist bands I have to wear all day just wouldn't work well or be worth the extra $300-500+ you'd have to pay for a tech like this. I'd bet they would be a niche expensive product that they sell as an accessory for those that want the 15-25% improvement they would offer. Just wont be worth it for the average user. I'm pretty sure the bulk of the market (including Meta) is moving to no controllers at all.
