She liked soulful rock with a harder edge to it. She wrote her own music most of the time. Had one of her songs made it to #4 on Billboard. Motherhood took her away from sticking with music. She was fine with it and loved her family.

This song is great! But also, Idiot, Lights Out, and You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, are fantastic LMP songs! It's sad, that Lisa Marie, wasn't given more credit & recognition for her songwriting talent, and her incredible vocal ability. She deserved a lot more respect & recognition than she received, in her lifetime. It was an enormous shadow she lived in, but she proved her own artistic brilliance, 100 times over. Lisa Marie, was 5 years older than me, so we're kinda in that same age group. She was followed & photographed her whole life, so I grew up with her. Because of that, she's always 'been there', and now I'm realizing that I kind of took that for granted. Yeah, we lost Elvis, but we have Lisa Marie, and we will for many years...I thought. This loss is so out of left field, and so tragic; it really feels like she died of a broken heart. Our beautiful, Lisa Marie. And that unforgettable smile. May she rest in peace.💐

❤👍❤Like Father like Daughter. Talent Galore!!! Has her own style and I believe wrote/co-wrote a lot of songs on all her albums. I saw the reaction of Tom and Elvis' bromance on Conan Show.❤ it! The Elvis Movie is🕺🏻 Priceless!!🎉 And Mr. Austin Butler does a great/wonderful job as him. Better than other Actors before. It's often so easy to dismiss someone with a famous name as being not as talented as a parent. But sometimes genetics is strong. Reilly Keough is a successful actress and director with Lisa and Elvis as her mom and grandfather. Lisa Marie sacrificed much to be a parent but her music is still known in certain music circles . She's recorded with Pink and performed on stage with Pat Benetar. This song is about people comparing her to her father.
