Only watching this now 3 yrs after you posted it lol...you can definitely see the improvements from then until now. Tell me, what do you see as the reason you've gotten so good at this now? Looking back what are you doing different now that you didn't do or know 3 yrs ago ?

Very good to see you are making full frame videos now! And impressive 7 ingots! Still I would advice to place your torch in a standard heating the molds while pouring. Probably you already tried this as I have never poured before 🤣 if so let me know if the bars get better that wat. Your stack is getting beautiful 😍

Can you explain me why you heat molds?
@bigstackD
@bigstackD 7 жыл бұрын
+Gioele Lo Re I heat the molds always before pouring to eliminate any moisture. If there is any moisture in the molds the moisture can turn to steam instantly causing small steam explosions which can send molten metal upto a couple of metres away and that’s not what you want to ever happen 😳.

@bigstackD
@bigstackD 8 жыл бұрын
+Big Roy 123 hey there matey that brass was from a big brass block and brass cog from a machine at my work, I got it from my mate when they replaced these pieces with new ones, I cut it to smaller sizes to make it easier to fit my crucible. Thanks for watching buddy👍🏻🍻
