Jd that reflector is a license plate jewl. Most people think that they are for bike but there not I had a neighbor that collected them he had thousands of them.

Glad you mentioned the "white" color of the silver and the possible tone difference. Call me funny, but I noticed the same thing on some off colored silvers. Nice finds as always.

hey cutaplug what are your thoughts on the ctx vs the etrac im tossing up between the 2 and i really like the look of the etrac my friend has a ctx and it seems a bit heavy in my veiw .but was wondering which machine you like better.one of my main concerns is how the numbers jump around so much with the etrac i think i might have a hard time working them out also can you still swing the etrac at a decent speed and how does the etrac fair on the beach .thx .good vid .

I have a question. I am not in the hobby as of yet. I am saving for an AT pro currently. But, on to my question... I was wondering, after watching hundreds of detecting videos, I see FAR more dimes found. I was wondering why that was? Is it because over the years quarters and halves sink farther and out of detecting range? Did people not loose quarters as readily? Is it because due to the era, cost of living and buying power of a dime, people just didn't carry higher denominations? Just curious and looking for opinions. Thanks! Great videos! Keep up the good work!

It's simply because more of them were made than the other silver coins. If you get a coin book and look at mint numbers you'll see what I'm talking about. especially the early 40's. And the larger coins usually don't go deeper imo. I've found at least 15 or more silver halves and most were just a few inches deep.
