Is it me or has it been a really long time since Rob did a Friday feature? Either way it's so good to hear that clown music and the "Hello, you've caught me..." intro again! Also the MGS tally is back (sort of)!
@MyKeytar Жыл бұрын
As a longtime Access fan, I have to say, I'm so glad Friday Features are seemingly back. Your prerecorded videos are absolutely a treat for the fandom. I know they require more work than live streams, but please keep them coming! Thanks for entertaining me for 8 years.

A ladder so long, they have time to sing acapella the theme song, brilliant. It really is the start of the whole narrative even though it's like the 5th game in the series. I hope Eva looks good and I am just really excited what gameplay improvements they can make.

Not sure who produces and/or writes these videos has done an excellent job. The referencing, style of essay, mix of humour mixed with good facts and referencing to actual lovers of the game. A fresh breath of air after the recycled influencer gamer entertainment. Good to have you back, keep it up!

Not going to lie, if they remove that ladder climb or make it shorter, I’ll be pissed. It pissed me off when I did it the first time but after awhile of playing it it grew on me. And really hope they don’t change too much of the game. It truly is a work of art. Konami leave it alone!!!

I cannot wait for this remake. Snake Eater was my first MGS game and one of the first games that made me realize that games can be something way more than just a disk you pop into your ps2 to have a few hours of mindless fun with and be done with it, and is still one of my top 3 favorite games. It's also the game I played through more than any other game with 26 playthroughs. With original Resident Evil 4 being very close in 2nd place with 23 playthroughs. Wonderful video as always.

Rob… you are an amazing writer! I don’t know why, but I was reminded of your Bloodborne video (about overcoming obstacles) when I watched this. I understand it’s difficult and you’re busy, but moments like this are why so much of your audience miss your Friday features. You’re just brilliant with it. Keep it up! 👍 😀

I still remember it is the MGS snake eater that showed me, what a ps2 game is capable of, while controling snake, the fact he can climb and hang on trunks, cqc, use sonar and heat vision, snipe a character to avoid a later battle, so many easter n secrets. I enjoyed every moments of playing snake eater, learning all the wild life, listening to snake comment what they taste like, radio secrets and so much more

Of my favorite moments of MGS3: Not sure it counts as a moment, but I really love the design of the Ocelot Unit. So much actually that when I bought a Warhammer 40k unit of Kaskrin for my Witch Hunters I used Green Stuff to give the team leader a beret and balaclava, and painted them with a black and red colour scheme like the Ocelot Unit - with a hint of Command & Conquer's Brotherhood of Nod added to the mix. (They acted as my Inquisitorial Stormtroopers.)

Amazing video, full of nostalgia goodness! I've got two points to make, however: 1. The camo system takes a lot of menu navigation every few steps. Fun idea, but rather poor execution. 2. Snake Eater is among my least favourite Metal Gear games (the worst will always be Survive), I'd love a Peacewalker remake though! A huge arsenal of weapons, the co-op, the first game where you grow your own army and those boss battles where you extract the data chips from within those monstrosities were its highlights for me.

I just can’t trust Konami anymore. The real reason they’re remaking MGS3 is because it’s the easiest to remake, since they can pull 3D assets (that are not just top down rendered) from MGSV. I’d be much more excited if they remade MGS 1 & 2.
