Jinjer puts a lot into every song, they are like their babies, no fillers, just art, each and every one of them and lyrically from Tatiana as well, very deep meaning she wants to convey to the listener which drives her. So as a result there isn't a bad Jinjer song, just favorites and less favorites and that even seems to change over time as a Jinjer fan, because the music is so dynamic, you pick up things you didn't before even after listening to the song a half a dozen times or more and find new appreciation for ones you maybe didnt like as much before but do now kind of thing. Jiner is a gift, rare talent to have in one package/band these days. "Pit of consciousness" would be great for you to do next.

Another note Pisces Live at Wacken is a newer vid you might want to check out on your own it’s pretty cool. Judgment &Punishment Tatiana’s Live studio one take is a cool new one.

Not that Jinjer don't use odd time signatures, but I've noticed that a lot of what they do is much like fusion jazz players do: a lot of syncopations and moving in and out of each others rhythmic patterns. That's also why they sound so huge for an instrumental trio. And they are bringing something new to the table of metal. I am tempted to say that this is the evolutionary step of bands like Tool, Fates Warning and the likes.

Thank you. FINALLY a reaction video that mentions the rhythm section. Yes, Tati is VERY unique and makes for a great reaction (and gorgeous) but the other 3 guys are seriously talented as well. You absolutely nailed it; time signatures {mind...blown} I saw them in concert and none of them misses a note. So much talent, even if it isn't your thing. Thanks, again. Great reaction bro, and I totally agree with you about rock and metal music. As far as Jinjer goes, I can honestly say I never thought I'd be in awe of a band again and I've been listening to rock and metal for over 40 years. The last band that blew me away like this was the first time hearing Queensryche back in '83, ironically enough it was Geoff Tate's vocals that blew me away then much like Tati's vocals blow me away now. And just like Queensryche then, Jinjer's music is so unique and bad ass, just an incredible band. As far as the next Jinjer song to react to, hell pick any one, they are all unique sounding and fantastic. Keep on rockin bro, and just like Tati's shirt in this video, "Stay Metal 666".. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🤘🤘

Okay, so you like Queensryche. Have you heard Unleash the Archers' vocalist covering Queen of the Reich at a karaoke bar? If you like female vocalists, even ones who aren't quite as... unique as Tati, I recommend giving UTA a listen. Jinjer kicks ass. Tatiana is a total badass and so are the other members of the band. As for metal, it is likely in the top 3 most diverse genres out there. It also tends to be populated by real artists with something to say, not just showbiz people. There’s a certain authenticity and honesty to it.
@youn1700
@youn1700 4 жыл бұрын
Just in case your wondering, the three instrumentalists in the band write a song and then hand the music to Tatiana. Who then adds vocals to it. She is amazing at matching a vocal set to their song. They don't actually know what the song will end up with until she is done. It's also the reason the band doesn't feel like a background extra. They are driving the rhythm of the musical the flow of things.

Roman, Eugene and Vlad are all formerly trained in music. They write every song. Tatiana has very little formal training and only began her professional career by fronting her brother's punk band for a short time. The band gives her the songs after they have composed them. She then takes the songs and writes the lyrics, choosing when and where to add vocals. It's a style very similar to most bands with one major difference. The band gives her 100% total free reign to do her thing wherever she sees fit.

just like Tool, they are the rare band that has four ELITE TALENTS in each position in the band.... the more i listen to this particular song the more i think this is the best metal song created in the last decade. the guitarist is absolutely inventive, if you check out his playthroughs of his own songs, you'll see.... the guy is not bound to any place on the fretboard... bassist is obviously talented, probably top 10 in the world right now... and the drummer does exactly what he is supposed to do to enhance already fantastically constructed pieces, he does more with less than anyone in the genre today (size of drum kit)

I agree! Eugene get's a lot of attention, and rightly so, but Roman is insanely good in his own right, and sometimes I feel like he get's overlooked because of the immensity of what's going on around him. In a "metal" genre, it's hard to pull off filling a soundscape equally between all four members quite the way Jinjer, or Tool does. Did that make any sense? :D

the more I listen to them the more I see how the drummer is underrated in Jinjer. Don't get me wrong, I really like them with previous guys, but this dude elevated them to a whole new level with how he controls the tempo of their songs. There is a clear difference in how often the tempo changes between the older and current songs, it's unreal

They've evolved a lot, but I feel like they've had a good feel for what makes music that is both innovative and fun at every stage of their evolution. Scissors is off Inhale Don't Breathe, the first record Tati did all vocals for, Outlander is off their first full album Cloud Factory, and Sit Stay Roll Over is off King Of Everything and is said (I haven't heard them say it, but it is believable to me) to be the song and video that got them signed by Napalm.

You talked about the predictability of country music, especially the lyrical subject matter. Jinjer isn’t just a great band musically, they actually have interesting things to say. To appreciate this band completely, you should also have the lyrics available when you listen. This band has their own thing going on and they cover a wide spectrum both musically and lyrically.

Suuuuppppp!!!!. The song "On Top" live in Kiev is a good show. But also "cloud factory" live highlights the muscisionship. I saw that message u put down lol funny

Great reaction, great thoughts on their sound and Metal in general. Gotta check out some of their live stuff for sure. Perennial (Wacken) and Who is Gonna Be The One and anything from Napalm's live in Kiev. Subbed.

New subscriber! Glad you schooled the haters on the headphone issue 😆 Please react to Pit of Consciousness, Live in Kiev. But then please go back to the start with the raw talent that was their genesis. Ie. No hoard of Value, Scissors, Outlander.Thanks. Glad I found this channel.

This! Their newer songs are more refined and sophisticated, but the raw creativity of their old stuff is amazing. Unfortunately great songs like Scissors, Exposed As A Liar, and Destroy aren't even available online. I had to buy Inhale Don't Breathe on CD from Amazon and rip it.
