Plays multiple instruments and is a recognized author. She does all her own arranging. You must review Love Don't Let Me Go which is her first release on her debut album coming out very soon. She recently signed with Republic Records as a 'featured artist' and has complete artistic control. Her uncle is her agent and she is surrounded by family. Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true, you have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day, 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. (This was her 1st release after signing with Republic Records & was dedicated to her late grandfather). Angelina Jordan from Norway is now 17 & has close to 200 covers as well as some original songs readily available on KZbin. But - in order to better understand her musical roots & early influencers, I highly recommend going back to her Norway's Got Talent audition singing the Billie Holiday classic Gloomy Sunday - at the age of 7. Man, I'm an old metalhead and I almost had a tear in my eye when I first heard her voice a few years ago... She's great, talented, beautiful. My opinion is that if she doesn't go too commercial (as Miley did, plus her other problems) she'll be a great talent in the future!! He's already a great talent! I recommend you "Bang bang" live when she was 7 years old. You're a metalhead, you must like "Kill Bill" which is the Nancy Sinatra version. You have no way out. 🤘

What you will soon realize is that Angelina today at 17 Angelina is already the best Jazz singer on the Planet! IMO Soon to be one of the Best Vocalists of All Time. ♥👣👸🏻 Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru KZbin of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own. Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. Angelina chooses her own songs and she is absolutely fearless. No song is too big and no artist is too Iconic. All the most Iconic songs by the most Iconic singers in music history. Angelina has said singing to her is as important to her as breathing. ♥👣👸🏻 She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. Her Tic-Toc is full of these impromptu performances wherever she might be whether in the car, walking around the neighborhood or in a parking Garage. Accompanied by most often a simple guitar or piano her performances are always incredible.
