Seeing Red is my self-introduction to Architects so I may be slightly biased to say that it is naturally my top favorite song not only from the album but also my favorite song of all time, However I can safely say that Whiplash is my second favorite. And the song is undoubtedly talking about the animosity going on in the world right now with the elections at their peak and humanity at it's worst with everyone at each other's throats.

So far it's Whiplash for me out of the 3 tracks, the chorus is catchy, the verses are aggressive and that breakdown at the end gave me slight Knocked Loose vibes.

I would go 8.6 maybe. The anger didnt feel mechanical in this one. it felt like a raw expression like they used to sound. Big fan of this one.

I`m new to Architects` music, my interest peaked after hearing "Seeing Red". A few of my favorite tracks are "Hereafter", "Animals" and of course"Seeing Red". Now with this release I can see it being added into my playlists. And "Curse" just hits different and can relate to a few things going on in my life right now. I hope I can see these guys live soon

I'm curious about when you decide to give a song a con and not. The other day, you didn't give LP any cons for Two Faced, but did here and it's the same thing. Verse chorus verse chorus breakdown chorus, and get out of there. Do you expect more from Architects or are LP's songs just so same-y that you expect it and it is what it is? Granted you rated this song higher (8.2 over LP's 8.1 due to the extra breakdown at the end lol)... Just wondering.

This is a much better Seeing Red imo. Seeing Red is just a gimmick. While Whiplash has a much stronger meaning and reason for the anger.

I'm gonna get flamed for this take, but oh well. While I really enjoyed this, goddamn does it sound like every other metalcore band out there right now. I think they're all being critiqued for going too soft, so they're all going heavier, and in-turn they all sound the same. I'm incredibly thankful for bands like Windwaker and Allt which keep it fresh and have waaay more variety in their sound

When are people going to be totally honest and say this band went from making some of the best metal core to making some of the most bland regular rinse and repeat songs is really disappointing to me. You were really hard on invent animate for example which I disagreed with but even I can appreciate you wanting them to just perfect their sound and it just wasn’t totally for you. I think this is one of those bands we all need to be super critical on if we want them to start going back to their roots and making the type of music that all made us love them in the first place. I just want consistency from these reaction channels from which bands you decide to be super harsh on.

The guy who wrote their old stuff is dead. What do you want them to do? You can't just write that stuff because you feel like it, they took years to get to that point. You have no idea of how much trial and era it takes to be that orginal and for it to work. Now he's gone their options and writing have changed. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that. Yeah the old stuff was amazing, but they will never be the same as their main song writer died.
