Something to be aware of: The Warning are currently young (19, 21, 24 I think) and have been writing their own music and performing for over 10 years already - so in some of their videos they are children. As they have matured, so have their voices. Any of them could be the lead singer for any band, though the bass player is shy and rarely sings lead. All the sisters sing, which is why Paulina (Pau, pronounced "Pow") is wearing a headset. Their music varies from hard to ballads and they pour their hearts into every performance and song.

This is an unusual first Warning song. Try Disciple from the Pepsi Center for a more representative song.
@conrad98gtpАй бұрын
I totally agree. This is an excellent emotive solo performance by Pau, the drummer that fans really appreciate, but probably the most odd first pick to review the band.
@Maggotkin666Ай бұрын
I think he just picked the latest song he could find which was a bit unfortunate in some ways ^^
@SDsailor7Ай бұрын
The Warning puts their heart and soul into their music. This was a very personal song for Paulina (the drummer) and the reasons for the song are not known. Only Pau knows.
@DavidSJ_DAPАй бұрын
BTW, she's the DRUMMER...her sister Daniella is the main lead singer, and you need to hear her...Disciple would be a good song to hear next, they both sing in it...
@knavekidАй бұрын
Next, check out Dust to Dust / Dull Knives from this same Pepsi Center CDMX concert. This will give you a better feel for the capabilities and sound of The Warning.
@williamburkholder769Ай бұрын
This is Pau's most intimate reveal of her dark side. She had just lost someone near and dear to her. The result is *Breathe.* Turn on Closed Captions with auto translation to English so you understand what she says in Spanish. Hard to believe, but English is their second language! Pau has two mics so she can sing while playing drums, but sound better when singing solo at the piano.
@GreatOutdoors1Ай бұрын
They are touring with Evanescence and Halestorm starting in a couple weeks while doing their own headlining tour currently in the US.

Absolute gem of a performance. Check out Disciple, from Pepsi Center or their new release - a cover that Metallica requested they develop for the Blacklist album: Enter Sandman - Live at Pepsi Center ( best version, in my opinion )

Great song from The Warning. This was the first and probably ONLY time it will ever be performed live. BUT, terrible song to introduce you to the band. I would suggest "Disciple" from the Pepsi Center CDMX for a real show of the bands amazing talents!
@KansaSCaymanSАй бұрын
She wears the head mic because she is the drummer, and sings both backup and lead on some songs while playing the drums. Check out Dust to Dust/Dull Knives from the Pepsi Center CDMX on their channel, which is a better representation of the band than this one-off, special song. 😎👍
@charleswharmbyiii8401Ай бұрын
She is the drummer for the Warning. Big mistake making this your first reaction to them. The significance of this performance is lost on you. Check out Automatic Sun. You'll get an idea of this incredibly takented band. Oh, he name is Paulina, and her sisters are Alejandra and Daniella. Dany plays guitar and sings lead, Ale plays bass and sings backup. Pau plays the drums, sings lead and backup, and all three play the piano.

Wow Ang! Great chose! They are 3 sisters from mexico super talented!! And in particular she is the drummer💪🏻(for this reason she has 2 microphones) I suggest to watch "disciple" from the same concert😄

I am still baffled that most reactors do not seem to know how to use close captioning on KZbin. 1- In the KZbin video window, click on the CC button 2- Click on the Settings icon that looks like a gear (at the bottom right), then on Subtitles/CC 3- In the new window, select Auto-Translate, scroll through the list and select English

Oh it's a big deal what Pau says at the beginning, so it would be really smart to turn on the subtitles, which are definitely in English automatically.

This was a last minute bonus track for their 3rd studio album. Pau, the drummer, wrote, performed and produced this song after the recording of the rest of the album. Not sure why but the label asked for one more. She did it on the condition that she would never have to do it live. BTW, she was struggling with the flu for this performance.
@jasonremy1627Ай бұрын
You've got to check out the full band. Look at this same concert, the Pepsi Center, and check out the video called "Dust to Dust/Dull Knives". It will give you a real sense of their power. You have been warned!

Would you like to know why it has two microphones? Well then, listen to Dust to Dust from that same concert, Pepsi Center.

Not the usual way people fall into the rabbit hole but welcome to The Warning Army nonetheless. Seeing you're a metalhead watch their version of 'Enter Sandman' from this concert next or better yet watch the 2014 cover first (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5PShox4brF5gLs) since they went viral with that at the ages of 14, 12 and 9!

great song but it is a bad first song as an an introduction to their normal sound. this song is very personal to Pua and she said she wouldn't perform it live on top of the song being personal she was over come with emotion of the crowed singing her song back to her. she is their drummer. at this show she was quite sick and they were at around 7000 ft.
@gcarapАй бұрын
She is the drummer, so mic she wears makes it easier to sing while drumming. And you may not believe it after this performance, but she is NOT the usual lead singer!

Hola amigo. The Warning nos une.

Pau's intro was "Well, this next song, I said I was never going to play it live because it's a very personal song, but seeing all of you gathered here, it's incredible to think that there are 8,000 people here right now who are here for us. And honestly, I'm kind of sick, my voice isn't in great shape, but I still want to sing this for you." Then when the crowd joined in at the beginning, she said "I have to sing this one!" The full opening line she did not complete is "The water's getting way too cold."

You just watched THE DRUMMER, the Drumeo Rock Drummer of 2023, rip our hearts out on the piano. Yes, The Warning can go heavy, and this is on the opposite end of the pendulum, and they do it so well.
@Itzzy515Ай бұрын
They aren't heavy or metal band so don't expect a heavy metal sound. They are an alternative rock band with influences of classical rock, hard rock and strong pop rock sound. A mix of Foo Fighters with the sound of modern bands like Muse or Royal Blood. A great rock stadium type band.
