Lonn is legend. I was Lonn's demo/audience in the 80s. Lonn's is one life of which I've always been envious. The stories he must have. Holy crap.

Good video. Love Lonn Friend and I still have a huge stack of RIP magazine. I was thinking all day after watching that Lonn passed away because I saw "RIP" in the title, and I was like NOOooo... but then suddenly now I realized that you referring to the magazine. Duh. It actually was one of the reasons I felt off today. Pleased there was a happy ending. :)

These need to be out more regularly. They are too slow in making them available. These are really good but there's too much of a wait between releasing them. Basically I love watching them but could they put them out more often.. 🙏

Says the guy who has NO CLUE what the folks who do these clips have going on in their lives! 2 dozen comments and of course there has to be 1 complainer, congrats Matthew... that's you. Typical entitled fan / follower... It's like when a band plays 17 songs during a 75 minute set, you're the guy that was disappointed it wasn't 20 songs and 90 minutes, then goes on to explain all the reasons how and why their show could have been longer or better. Great clip guys...

@@stevierachelle6930 are you trying to be patronising or can you not help rubbing people up the wrong way. That's not what I meant when I wrote it, but congratulations on the most condescending comment on here. Must be part of being American, you have to take things literally as they are written rather than take 2 mins and read it with an IQ of more than 10.. Well done. 👌 Cringeworthy reply . 👏👏

@@stevierachelle6930 GO Stevie! I have been on the side of the makers of these videos myself. Just doing Art interviews with Painters and Sculptors. It's hard doing things like this, especially if you are low on personal funds with which to do the filming trips. Can't live where everyone is so you gotta pick and choose who what and when. So Matt, please understand bro, it's not super easy to do this kind of thing, especially with people that are almost on perpetual travel mode. Maybe send the guy some money to help him make some more videos. Cheers!

Man, RIP mag and LF is super important to the popularity of REAL metal bands and music today. They certainly brought more extreme forms of metal in front of our ugly faces, as opposed to just from a fanzine, which are/were great, btw.

They did the hair ballad with Nothing Else Matters instead. Honestly, I like the s/t, but it absolutely followed the hair metal marketing formula. Rocker first, ballad second. And it was two ballads in a row. also, St. Anger and Some Kind of Monster are trash. Singlehandedly made me a non-fan. Piss off Lonn.
