From their debut album Kill'Em All. A fast paced classic Metallica song, a bass line suited to practicing micro movements on the fretboard. The fretting hand demands relatively quick movement of the fingers in a 2 string/2 fret gap setting while switching left to right as prevalent in this video.
Recorded using the 'Modern Channel' on the Marshall MB150 direct to interface with basic EQing and an Audio Damage's Rough Rider 3 compressor plugin to give it a bit of a pump.
