He loved the song but thought it might end the band..he took on learning more guitar and took 6 months of singing lessons to capture the quiet purity of the start. It was not in his wheelhouse, but now he can sail that ship anytime he wants..

A great Metallica vid is them playing Hole in the sky and Iron Man for Back Sabbath at Sabbaths Hall of Fame induction. Also Funeral for a friend/Love lies Bleeding at Elton Johns Tribute. Both performances are incredible and James energy is off the charts.
