I like Metallica's intro better than the original, it sounds less de-tuned. This has gotta be one of the best covers ever.

@isengard13 I'm all for the 70's shit but I totally agree! Music is not about who's better or anything its about having fun and doing what you love. A cover is not about trying to play the song better than the original, its about showing how much you love and appreciate the original music and band.
@Workin2anEarlyGrave15 жыл бұрын
great song and great cover. especially for national acrobat. I can see ppl are arguing over the covers' quality and things like that. As a fan listening to the band for a very long time now, I can say that Metallica loves doing cover songs compared to writing their own stuff and playing them. So I can say that altough Metallica wrote many better songs through their career, they are still a cover band since they love doing covers and are much more thrilled with it.

yeah i could be that you grew up with metallica, if you like metallica more than ozzy i think you'd like this cover more. although i like black sabbaths verision more but i grew up with ozzy :P and this cover is really good, i don't think any band can do a better cover than metallica. an awsome song cover by a really awsome band, could it possibly be a better cover? i don't think so :D

btw, I do concede that this live performance isn't the best (although it still is enjoyable), but I don't know if you've heard the studio version of this cover. It is freaking heavy, tight, musical, and extremely well produced.

Through The Never That song even has a good Double Bass segment. Look at some of the live versions from the 90's. Not as heavy as Fight Dire With Dire but still pretty Heavy. Black Album=Heavy Metal Everything Before=Thrash

Again, musical talent is about songwriting, not shredding or tapping fast, but I still love Malmsteen's music. And may I suggest that you shouldn't say that Metallica sux at songwriting, you'll just end up with a lot of enemies, including me XD. I won't reply to your ignorant and rude comments anymore, I'm sic of all know-it-all, wannabe-metal-teenagers.
