That's quite a feat, too! I just saw where Metallica has a new album coming "Soon". They didn't say when, or give any information as to how many songs will be on it, or what the Title of the Album would be, just that a new album is coming. Think about this, too:Of the 10 regular studio albums that Metallica has released since their Debut Album, Kill 'em All, came out, everyone of them has gone, at the very least, Platinum! Kill 'Em All (1983)-3,000,000+. Ride The Lightning (1984)-6,000,000+. Master Of Puppets (1986)-6,000,000+. ... and Justice for All (1988)-8,000,000+ . The Black Album (1991)-16,000,000+. Load (1996)-5,800,000+. Re-Load (1997)-4,000,000+. St. Anger (2003)-2,000,000+. Death Magnetic (2008)-2,000,000. Hardwired...To Self-destruct (2016)-1,000,000++.

They used to say that now I've seen them say stuff like they're just trying to sound like the 80s version of themselves. Isn't that what we've been wanting them to do since the 80s left? Lol. This is amazing. Rob's backing vocals and James' voice, especially when they shout the lyrics together, the sick guitars, the pounding of the drums all sounds epic. The song is sick and was well played first time live, it felt full of energy and I felt pumped up just watching the video, it must be insane to actually be at the concert.

Justin Lorusso Death Magnetic was a start, but you can't say that they were back with that album. That is, unless you were a fan of lulu. Death Magnetic wasn't as great as it was made to be by most. Yes, it was much better than St. Anger and lulu, and it had its great songs here and there. If Metallica was back after Death Magnetic, they would've never released the worst album in Metallica history right after it, lulu. They would've said, hey, this album is pretty dang retarded and ether trashed it, or just released it as a Lou Reed album.

because it's the "cool " thing to do. Got to hate on Metallica cuz it shows your cred, yo! I admit, Rob's backing vocals...are not his strong suit. But I've heard some pretty crappy ones from Jason over the years, and people slobber all over his stuff for some reason. *shrugs*. If I were to have a "knock" it's that I wish Metallica didn't have to learn their own songs... I am not a fan of how Lars constructs the albums, overall (I prefer Maiden where they actually play through the whole song in the studio, instead of playing cut and paste), but end of the day as long as they eventually hit the stage like this? I'll keeping going to their shows every chance I get.
