This is by far the most emotional, intense and epic Metallica song. I am a huge fan of the old stuff and listen to the big three albums almost exclusively but this song (and album) are hugely underrated. Load is a rock and roll masterpiece and though might not be thrash metal at its best, is an undeniable mega force in musical creativity and performance.

Little story here: I didnt listen to the whole Load Album that often so I wasnt really familiar with the last few songs on it when I went to the Metallica Concert in Mannheim last year. Since then, this song has been one of my favourites for sure! Great cover man!

For me, they almost certainly create this unofficial trilogy, an era of risks and a dive into new territory which saved Metallica for the better. The 90's era of Metallica is what got me into their music despite not knowing any of their work in the 80's. Some (or most of the Metallica community) can say that I'm wrong that I didn't started at the "commonly accepted" spot of Metallica's career because it's not Master Of Puppets or Ride The Lightning, but I'd doubt those would be give me a better appreciation of life that Load gave me. I wouldn't mind it at all if Metallica made another hard rock album, I totally wouldn't at all.
