So many people shit on this era of the band, but you have James pouring his guts out, while Jason is just roaring over the entire song. Come on man, this is insanely good.

I wish I could go back in time and attend this award show. I was a little kid in 1996, so obviously I'd want to travel back in time at my current age. Metallica performed live. Bone Thugs N Harmony performed live. To have both groups in attendance, watch them both perform within the same night and inside the same building would be way too surreal. Both groups are in my top 3 greatest of time artists.

I remember watching this live on TV and taping it for future re-runs in my basement. I was still adjusting to the load era Metallica, being a die hard Justice/Black Era fan, but this song, and hero of the day are some of the best songs in the band catalog from that era. I look back at this part of Metallica mostly fondly now, considering the garbage that was to come.

Maybe a "DeLoad"? Or a "MetaLoad". (See what I did there? It's "meta" as in "beyond" or "outside of", but also spells "metal" when combined with load! I'm really clever!) Also, they could have albums called "Loaded", "ReLoaded", "DeLoaded", and "MetaLoaded". Also, "Loading", "ReLoading", "DeLoading", and "MetaLoading". Also, "Loader", "ReLoader", "DeLoader", and "MetaLoader". I could think up more, but you get the idea... Also, how's about a "Pink Album"?

+uome20bukz till 2006-2008 james still got his voice, but he just started singing in 1994, because before that he was shouting and screaming the words not singing them and that actually caused him minor voice damage while recording a song in 1993, he healed, but he knew that he had to start singing and not ripping his voice
@badass63009 жыл бұрын
***** well to be honest I tought about it, then I talked with a person on youtube, and we came to the conclusion that he can still sing like he did in the late 80 - early 90s, although this time professionaly and not screaming, but he doesn't do it, just for the purpose of keeping his voice intact, since unlike most bands they do really a lot of live performances instead of releasing albums ever 1-3 years... their last album was in 2008(which I really don't like, I would like them to have more albums out), if you listen to Judas Kiss from 2008's vocal track you could clearly hear his 1991's voice, but it's overshadowed by the back vocals, which are clean and for some reason almost as lound as James' vocal performance. If you listen to him speak atm, his voice is really much deeper than in 1990, so it's only logical that he can sing much more powerful than before.
