@@ronnydittrich2181 stop with the oh Metallica treated Jason bad cry me a river bs. They didn't treat him bad. He got hazed in the beginning when they were in their mid 20s because imo they didn't properly grieve cliffs death they just kept going which was good for their career overall but bad for them as individuals. They're human people make mistakes but this whole Jason got treated terrible narrative is just wrong. They were actually good friends for most of that time and in the early 2000s they were in a bad place. James was in a bad place. But he didn't treat Jason real bad or anything the way people make it out to be. It was unfair that he expected Jason not to do a side project when he isn't allowed to contribute much into Metallica but again people are human and make mistakes and James is a diff person than he was 20 years back. People really over exaggerate this shit it's like a KZbin internet trend I've noticed.

Newsted's backups and harmonies (even on a thrash classic like this) are so choice! He was the best. Het slamming down the mic at 3:15 is epic. 28 years ago, I can’t believe it! I was friends with a guy who worked for Metallica, that tour they came to town and I was on a band that played a lot of their old stuff. Me and my bassist met Lars, Kirk and Jason at a club in east St. Louis, hung out with em all night . The next night had comp tickets and backstage passes, it was epic. To think that was 28 years ago, and today, I’m still on a band that plays their older stuff.... seeing those fans in the snake pit brought it back man....

Yeah he fuxken would have. He was a mega wanker and when James was burnt in Montreal Axl could’ve been the hero of the night. In true Axl style has a hissy fit and then it was on at the show. Selfish, self absorbed little child that behaviour was. No wonder the Gunners broke up. Slash and Duff McKagan were the ones cheated and done over by Axl Rose. His a real arsehole in my opinion. I always use to say to people MetallicA are the better band.

Dude imagine if we still played music during war like in 1700's. In 1993 just have mtallica playing while at battle, for whome he bell tolls or creeping death! Edit: No one likes war, this isnt to be taken seriously just a joke : ). Metallica is anti-war.

Yes he did play guitar, he just decided to concentrate on vocals, cuz he didn't think someone could make it doing both, he thought a band needed a "front man" and everyine was ALWAYS looking for singers, but he never liked the guitar replacements, so he went back and forth on each, but decided to just do both.
