+BurnBabyBurn! You'd think so, wouldn't you? But people will still piss, moan, complain and hate on it, because it didn't come out in the 80's. Personally, I'm with ya though, Death Magnetic is a freakin' masterpiece and will be very hard to top.
@xurxo129 жыл бұрын
+Beer nMetal it's a very cool album, no doubt about it. if they keep the level close to it, it will be a success. won't be easy, but I'm convinced they still got the talent within them to top it. and you know, haters will hate, no matter what they release; so nevermind.
@AlienFrequency9 жыл бұрын
They definitely have the talent and skill to match, or top it. James and Lars are masters with arrangement, song writing, etc. I will say, I don't think Lords of Summer is up to par with anything on Death Magnetic, and that song 'may' be on the new album. I don't dislike it, I just don't LOVE it. For all we know, it may just be a demo.
@xurxo129 жыл бұрын
+Beer nMetal I like LOS to be honest. I guess they just took some riffs they got back then and make a song just for the summer gigs. maybe they will take just the very best riffs off it and add them on parts of other new songs where they fit good. they did that in the past, and worked pretty fine.
@AlienFrequency9 жыл бұрын
BurnBabyBurn! The version of LOS on iTunes says it's the "first pass version", so yeah, I'm guessing it's not done.. too early to judge. Listening to it as I type this, and I'm liking it more. I think it's growing on me.

Stig Tveen Borup how he lost it during the black album or so what ?? Because his voice remained same until 1997 then it changed. For example: Fuel For Fire released in 1995 and Fuel released in 1997. Listen carefully both songs and then tell me the difference. I researched every James Hetfield voice.
@Inspire_Orbit9 жыл бұрын
But Black Album voice was not really James' voice so it kinda ruined whole scream-thingy voice. Bob "Cock" was forcing him to do heavy metal voice instead of his old voice which can fit very well with vocal tuners. He only used his old voice in 1996 with "King Nothing" after all years then it's gone. It's dead right now , it sounds like growling leon.

datb double bass at 13:09 and James saying 'Luck runs out' twice and hitting 'out' very low.
