When Mark said near the front “There’s so many good guitar players, I’m lucky to have my job.” Here’s the difference, Mark, you write the music these guys play. In most cases, these people don’t/can’t write this kind of stuff. No hate towards any of these musicians, but it takes special talent to write it & have it connect, like Mark & Lamb if God do!

One day decided to start trying to learn tabs, I was about 15, 2 shitty years into playing. Anyway, look up Laid to Rest tabs and start out slow, ok I got the opening riff let's clean it up and speed it up. Before I knew it I was playing along. Mind = blown. I've been playing ever since. Mark... Today on my way home from work I was thinking about this video and some of the things you said. Like "I gotta get my chops up" "I'm lucky to have the gig I do" and "good guitarist are a dime a dozen". Now, while every one of those things could and may be true, the difference is YOU brother. If you left LoG and they picked up someone else, I guarantee you for a fact that replacement just couldn't be you. Ever. And you know it too. It's your unique style and writing style that makes you the god that you are today. And yes sir, you are a guitar god at this point. Also want to add that even tho we all know that you know that you're a fucking genius. Myself, I really enjoy and appreciate your modesty and ability to stay humble. You're a fantastic person (so it seems) and a brilliant guitarist. Just wanted to share that.

First time hearing Lamb of God, I was in high school, Ashes of the Wake came out a few months ago. And one of my best friends let me listen to Laid to Rest and Omerta. I went from a casual Nu Metal listener to a full on Metalhead and have been ever since.

It's gotta be a little ego crushing when 5 year old boys are playing your drum tracks and 13 year old girls are playing your riffs with ease

Not at all, because learning to play songs might not be too hard, but writing them surely is, and specially LoG bangers
