Man, Thrawn's story shows how much can be done with this unexplored area of space. Ruling families and countless, unfamiliar species. Different cultures. Ship technology that isn't as advanced as traditional Star Wars ships, and yet hold other technologies we haven't seen. Imagine what could be revealed to the general viewing public if the Ahsoka show even touches on a glimpse of what is out there.

I wonder how well the Imperial navy would do if Thrawn were Emperor. Perhaps it would have more expensive and advanced TIE fighters than the TIE Defender or Phantom, or perhaps a more intelligently designed Star Destroyer to replace the Imperial-class Star Destroyer.
