Once he is done with his business on the planet, he takes a little side diversion before leaving the planet by killing all of the tuskin raiders in a nearby tribe. The one thing I do know about tusken raiders went unmentioned: At one point a large band of farmers were very angry at the tusken raiders and wanted to hunt them all down but obi wan stopped it and went to save the person who created this mess. The Tusken raiders spotted him and in their attack he almost succumbed to the dark side but kept his cool and cut a piece of clothing off of every member of that tribe. After that word spread and the tusken raiders saw it as a man who managed to defeat an entire tribe without killing one. the opposite of the demon, whenever the shadowy figure would approach they knew to run as shown in a new hope

With regards to your query at the end of the video, Arabic tribes in the Arabic peninsula used to meet in market towns , specially during times of festivals, each tribe had its own reciter who'd memorize the tribe's poetry and also make his own and recite them in poetry battles. This tradition was later continued in Islam , where ''Huffaz'' (which translates into ''Memorizers'') would memorize the Quran word for word and recite it to the tribes during prayers or during memory contests.

The part where you mentioned the connection to the storytellers and Hinduism, it also reminds me of something I was taught in my Classical Mythology class, where the Greeks would have storytellers who would gather citizens in amphitheaters or similar spaces and then recite the myths in several-hour-long stints. And if you made one mistake you would be mocked for decades to come. Fathers would tell children about the time Atalanticus told the tale of Zeus Keraunos (Thundering Zeus) when it should have been about Zeus Astrapaios (Zeus of Lightning) or the time Aion, in this very amphitheater, stuttered in the last line of a seven hour story. The poor guys would have to leave town and hope they could travel far enough to get away from the mocking. You know how in those shitty teen angst movies where the bully is mocking the protagonist about that one time his pants ripped in preschool and everybody laughs like it’s the sickest burn ever, imagine that but with togas and 40 year old men.

Well, there are likely Force-Sensitive Tuskens who become the Shamans and Spirit Guides for many of the tribes. Highly regarded and revered for the position. They may not be on the same level as that of a Jedi but they have a connection to the Force and the Force Guides them and they look for answer and meaning in their viewings into the great expanse. So with the line of thinking. They are hidden away some place. Far removed from the hunting and gathering. Living off what offerings other tribes bring as payment to get answers in all sorts of matters. Be it how well a hunt will go to grander matters that simply cannot be agreed upon and need answers from the "Spirits".

It would be cool, if at some point there would be a climate change, either caused naturally or by terraforming, that would retransform Tatooine into a lush world. It would be also cool if the Tusken would then change their culture and start a new civilization. Perhaps due to somebody teaching them their ancient script, so they can read their real history. Alternatively at one point, a Tusken is born, that can use the force. He/she has the visions of the ancient past of his/her people and then the story develops from there.

I was sorta thinking Native Americans who acclimated to European-Americans while still retaining certain Tusken cultural traditions. Wouldn’t be too surprised if certain Tuskens became Space Pilots, but only for Tatooinian defense, not exploration & such; when on the surface, they’re always with their Banthas…

You can see so many real life influences shaping tusken lore throughout the ages coming from various indigenous peoples of our world all the way from the great plains of North America all the way to the Arab’s of Mesopotamia or the tribes of Afghanistan

The Tusken raiders are heavily inspired by the Fremen from Dune. Tatooine and many other aspects of Star Wars were also inspired by Dune. In fact early drafts of Star Wars looked more like a knockoff of Dune than anything else with even the force originally being called Jedi Bindu a knockoff of the Prana Bindu of the Bene Geserit .
