@dp2712 жыл бұрын
id rather say it's emotional expression
@elwinkline63872 жыл бұрын
@@dp271 it depends. 1. A lot of popular 'musicians', don't even play a musical instrument, write there own songs, and even have their voices modified by tech. The money-folks behind the scenes are literally crafting up 'music' to make money strategically using every resource possible from what's trending, to sampling other previous hits, creating catching 'hooks' which a lot of times is just the same few words repeated over and over (which I cannot stand and is just awful). 2. Music does manipulate viewers as well in film, where creepy sounds kick off right before something bad happens, or queue the romance tunes before the kiss/love scene. This is pushing the viewer to feel a certain kind of way, whether they realize it or not. 3. Music played in clothing stores/malls intentionally designed to invoke excitement and increase the percentage chance for a customer to buy something. This is very much real. Emotional manipulation is extremely accurate in all cases above. Emotional expression as you put it, I would say this falls in line with cultural music tradition such as Pacific Islander, Celtic, Native American, Hispanic, etc. Sure. That's a whole love of expression going on without hidden agendas for the most part. The true tragedy is how overwhelmingly terrible popular/modern day music is to young minds. The sexual exploitation of the opposite sex (men and women are both guilty, Dojo, Nikki, etc... and an enormous amount of male performers), drugs, violence, object obsession (gold, jewelry, cars, clothes, etc etc.)... that young people are literally pouring into their minds daily, if not hourly. Upon rising, while walking, while driving, social media. A massive downfall currently is lack of role models for young people today. The current state of the music industry is a big problem and contributor to that downfall. As the great Obi-Wan said, "Your focus determines your reality." People of all ages, genders, origins constantly poisoning the mind with this trash nearly non-stop daily... just imagine if all of that mental energy was instead focused on creativity, STEM, reading, etc... positive things. There is indeed way too much and a lot of musically induced manipulation going on today.

Typically, I'm not much for "what if" scenarios, however there is a "what if" scenario that recently has come to my mind, and this video (that is the story of the Bith manipulation/creation of Plagueis and the Force's counter creation of Anakin Skywalker) has now reinforced the potential question that I have, and perhaps MetaNerdz Lore could speculate upon my ponderance. The "what if": In "The Phantom Menace" Qui-Gon Jinn finds the opportunity to, perhaps, free Anakin from slavery. However, this opportunity, which itself is already highly dependent upon the outcome of a gamble, that being that Anakin wins the Boonta Eve Classic Podrace, the opportune chance to free Anakin is first and foremost dependent on whether Qui-Gon wins the roll of a chance-cube, a chance-cube that actually favors the color red to win. Of course, by using the Force, Qui-Gon manipulates the cube to land on blue, thus granting the freedom of Anakin rather than of his mother if Anakin does win the podrace. "What if" the chance-cube was supposed to land on red? That is, what if the original design of the Force was to have Shmi Skywalker freed and then she eventually returns to a wiser, more patient Anakin Skywalker who would then actually defeat the Sith without becoming Darth Vader in the process? Yeah, I realize there is a lot of speculation and caveats to this idea, but I thought I'd put it up for a pondering. Like I said at the beginning, I'm really not much for "what ifs" but this one just really sticks to me. Thanks for, if nothing else, reading this extended comment as well as putting out a lot of great videos.

That’s super fascinating. I once had a Star Wars themed experience on dmt, nice to know that similar things can happen on ayahuasca too. Did you know about the character before your experience? And where your visions linked to his plans and personality or only to his physical appearance?
@organicketchup51712 жыл бұрын
@@yourlocaltoad5102 thank you. I'm glad you like the story. There was no details beyond the occasional and repetitious image of the character's face, sort of emerging out of the chaos. I probably did know of the character and his design beforehand, but I'd forgotten about it.

@@hollowone777 I did it in Peru with a company called 'Etnikas'. They were wonderful and I recommend them. They were all about the balance of modern and traditional medicine, so the sessions are authentic, in that they're run by a Shaman, but doctors and nurses are present too.

@@organicketchup5171 Did his face look like the drawn images used in this video or did he appear like a real person? Or in one of the many „artstyles“, the things seem on ayahuasca and dmt sometimes have? In my experience, I pretty much saw a summary of episode 4, but it appeared like it was drawn in this very blocky style that’s usually associated with the mayan culture. Which was quite weird, but also looked amazing. If I knew how to draw or animate, I would definitely try to recreate it.

As a wind player myself, I’m curious about their wind instruments, given that they only inhale (human wind instruments work with exhalation, obviously).

Imagine a harmonica being played with an inhalation... Could be a similar mechanism, flat metal reed. No need for them to pause for breath either.

Scary concept... What if those mouthpiece insert tubes deep into their airway, breathing in hard syphons air into the instrument... One possibility, though I think to be entubated every time i want to play the flute won't be fun at all.

The stories of Tenebrous, Plagueis and Sidious are some of my favorites among the Sith. Incredible wielders of the force and total geniuses only brought down by their own flaws. Tenebrous arrogance leading to him engineering his own doom. Plageuis complacency allowing his betrayal at a moment of weakness. And Sidious achieving of near total victory having him not even consider the possibility of his greatest trophy (the jedi chosen one as his slave) turning on him.

@@arthas640 it’s mind boggling to me how George Lucas sold his “ baby”… sad. I always said Disney would do this. They turned Star Wars into one of their fairy tales and got Ray Palpatine as some morbid princess😂😂🤣 to be fair, I thought the galactic hotel was very fun, very pretty. But Disney should not own this ! You know Disney also owns the rights to the movie “ Freddy got fingered” 😂😂🤣 it’s a spending spree joke.
