The demo is about 5 hours of gameplay and goes partway into the first dungeon. It is roughly the equivalent of playing Persona 5 upto Ann's awakening.

@cutespooky anti-aliasing is non-existent or terribly bad so they set resolution scaling to 125/200% by default to compensate (it still looks bad even at 4k with 125%) and 'under the hood' code (bad threading code/timings/frame pacing) was so bad Kaladian (SpecialK dev) personally made a patch to fix some of the worst of it. Seriously, the first open area/start of the game had my 3090 dip into 50fps (with res scale set back to 100% - just purely bad optimisation). Besides that, there is no DLSS/FSR no in built HDR. Ignoring all those porting issues; the base game textures/lighting/shadows look PS2/3 era. The only reason anyone would say the game has good graphics is the artwork and Atlus' 'style' Anyway, RIP anyone trying to play on mid/low end PC or Steamdeck. Crazy considering it could pass as a Switch game visually.

Microsoft must’ve paid them for the exclusive marketing rights. Probably a dumb decision to do this on ATLUS’s part since the majority of their sales are from PlayStation owners and alot of them aren’t aware this game is gonna be on PlayStation or that it even exists.

Demos honestly are more common now than they’ve been for the last few decades. A lot of JRPGs in particular seem to be going back to releasing demos, and in particular the kind of demos that allow you to play the beginning of the game and then load the save when the full game releases.

Like with Daybreak I'd just prefer if the games just keep it pure turn based with a field strike advantage mechanic like previous games. The action combat in both seems to be so barebones it's not worth having. Still looking forward to the game though.
