Don’t laugh at my terrible gameplay! I was enjoying myself. 😅 ( All footage is my gameplay on PCVR). It’s SO good. I can’t explain the feeling, like it feels as good as playing on flat screen but here we are in VR. FINALLY. It was hard to stop playing this to make this video. @ seriously, me too. Metro feels really good I haven’t finished yet so i can’t rate it but I love the direction these games are going in. And honestly they can go every other year or more just keep them coming. We don’t need VR to burn out like the Flat AAA industry.

Infact! This is a pre-quel, so this is technically the first Metro game in the plot! A great way to get into Metro

Love Metro and played them all. One of the few gamess that have always supported the Mac (have a pc but prefer using Mac) Really looking forward to this. I will get the Quest 3 version as I just prefer the mobile versions to the hassle of the PCVR one. - even though it looks better it will play the same. Great review, your gameplay makes me think I can handle Normal difficulty :-)

Good news for your! The quest version is cross buy, so you’ll get the PC version too I think. But I agree being able to have this as a quick start up on headset is pretty sweet. And yes normal is pretty tame, you should be fine, especially if you’re familiar with Metro games.

@TheConstruct_VR i am, tried Virtual desktop with VDXR and steamvr runtime. And also airlink which runs better for me but not perfect. What software do you use for wireless streaming Metro?

@ try the Steam link app on your quest. Seems to be the best in landing in between visuals and performance (it will NOT be as sharp as virtual desktop) that with the SteamVR run time. You’ll probably have a smoother experience.

people are overhyping yet the graphics make you want vomit. looks like slightly advanced mobile graphics no pcvr game should have que maps and fake reflections. not only that lights look super fake no flare no shine

@@nickboi9740 are you comparing it to console / PC? I think people are referencing mobile graphics as a starting point… hence the hype. That’s what I mean here: 02:43 when I said “play it safe” I think it actually IS mobile graphics with enhancements on PC and PSVR2. Not to be compared with flat AAA PC/Console graphics The mobile hardware holds us back from that unfortunately

erm, it's on a mobile chipset. What do you want? As I make mobile games, I can tell you this is top-notch. The Quest has to render 2 images and keep a very high frame rate. Given the choice of PCVR or Quest 3, I am going with Quest 3. The trade-off in comfortability and portability over a hike in graphics isn't that great for me. Just picking up the Quest and playing is one of the joys of the headset. Turning on my pc, logging into Steam, either being tied to the pc or a Wi-Fi connection that makes it look like Quest isn't worth the hassle IMHO.

Yeah i agree ,it is a bit over hyped if i had not seen few reviews i definitely would enjoyed this game more , it's a golden rule: want to play this game?- just play it, do not watch a hundred videos about it before..
