I’ve been doing 100-200 push-ups, 60 +sit-ups, 50+ squats, as well as heavy bag kicks, combinations daily for 3 years now. Started when Covid hit. Sure glad I have kept up. Thanks for the video. Love how your willing to share your limitations in fighting, and willingness to try everything, makes you top notch buddy. Not that “tough guy” attitude like “Icy Mike”… jk. Love all of your content guys!!

Pretty fun stuff, I've worked similar stuff into my routine, I called them Centurian workouts, a hundred reps of whatever exercise was the focus that day. I was wondering what that poll was leading to. I mentioned Hinomaru Sumo, and the funny thing is, Hinomaru Sumo was what got me into BJJ. Been working my best to work Sumo into my BJJ and it is pretty good for stand-up.

Lol its no surprise that the exercise that is probably the most beneficial to you as a martial artist/fighter/combat sports athlete..RUNNING..is also the most miserable exercise to do as well. Not to mention a nightmare on your joints. I was also squatting 485 ro 495 in my late teens and thru-out my 20s. The phrase: "You will feel it later.." will begin to become very clear and make much sense once you are in your late 30s

This was probably intentional on your part, but you kind of ignored the context of one punch man, that he moves so quickly that he can get past any guard, and he hits so hard that he don't really have to get past any guard anyway. He also hits so hard that he doesn't have to worry about a counter attack after he lands his hit. And even if he was counter attacked he can take any hit too.
@metrolinamartialarts

Yeah, I set the premise as is there anything to learn from his techniques and strategies - the answer was no (like I said at the end of the video)

@@metrolinamartialarts Since a major theme in One Punch man is his lack of technique or strategy. One might say that overwhelming strength could lead you to get severe flaws in your actual ability to fight equal opponents. And that is exactly what you found analyzing his way of fighting.

Next time try doing them in one continuous circuit switching exercises every 25 reps. Mix in jump rope, rows, and bag rounds, too. So try 5 circuits 25 pushup/25 situp/25 squat/25 rows/2 mins jump rope/3 mins bag. Fuck the running. LOL I don't think I've watched an anime since Robotech in 1986.

I wont recommend it. just do your exercise normally. get rest if you are tired. even, if you are not getting tired, check your blood pressure, if it is increasing too much, just rest. I did this exercises from high school, even before reading one punch man, and in my 30, I got depression, tiredness and so many other body problems. actually, it is okay to do it as long as you balance it with good alkali intake. doing exercise is actually producing acid on your blood, and if you do it too hard, and without balancing it with diet, it will increase your blood pressure
