Metropolis Zone, Act 2 (Remix) - Sonic The Hedgehog 2: CD

This is one of those where the background took waaay longer to make than the actual track itself. Spent about 2 days on the song and about 4 on the background. INSANE.
Anyways, this is an unusual dance remix of a Zone that doesn't get many dance remixes... coming from the guy that's been doing dance remixes for like 3 months now... I still hope you all enjoy this one and take care everyone.

This has to be the funkiest one yet! This is definitely my favorite, removing all the annoying parts (aka all of it) from metropolis' theme, and making a completely new funky beat!! Keep at it!! :D Edit: As another comment said, I definitely think you should be hired. If there's ever a pure Sonic 2 remaster/re-imagining, you'd be perfect for the job!

If you really wanna proof, pitch the song to the same key note as "Go Straight" and see if its a copy as you make it seem like. I'm not gonna keep wasting time with this pointless argument anyways. This fits the energy of the Tezuka manga this was based on. Also, the loose anime adaptation of the Metropolis manga has a reference to the Sonic zone, as the subterranean levels of the city were divided into 3 zones, each introduced with a font similar to the Sonic font.

I remember when Robotnik said in Sonic Forces "I built a backup under Metropolis!" And my mind immediately went right to the original Metropolis Zone but waaaay harder... But then i woke up to reality and realized Sonic Forces was awful. :(

Sorry for the long wait lol. I primarily use FL. I make most of my instruments using FM Synthesis. The only stuff I don't create are the samples, which I just happen to have some stuff from various Roland Drum machines.
