Two questions....1, with 22 walks in 3 games, how does the Mets pitching staff and bullpen need to adjust to pitching to the Dodgers versus the Phillies who were notorious for chasing pitches all season and in the NLDS. 2, does the Dodger's starting pitching who continues to improve concern you guys, and how should the Mets make adjustments not only in the early innings, but also in the later innings like they have all postseason?

both big problems. 1. the mets need to adjust to understand they can't get away with trying to get the Dodgers to chase, and it doesnt seem like they have. 2. i think the "waiting for the later innings" magic has run out. saw it tonight. the mets best opportunity in that game was against beuhler. it was too late by the time the bullpen came in. late comebacks are their thing but it may not work against the dodgers

Mets did not look ready to play and so tough to have such a lousy game in post season but I think they come back with renewed vigor in game 4 and take it. I agree that it is close to a must win. As a Dodger fan I came across your channel and I think it’s awesome seeing a woman baseball podcast. This series isn’t over and even tho we’ve shut down the Mets twice I am not calling victory until we get that 4th win. These Mets are a tough matchup still, but if we were able to beat the Padres then I believe we can beat anyone. Not because the Padres are the best team out there but because their “rivalry” with us fuels them and makes them get hot at the plate, making them the most dangerous challenging opponent for us.

I was never expecting to beat the Dodgers. So I guess you can say I don't "believe." I'm more of a realist. I root hard and hope for magic, which is what we need to win this series. On the very bright side....everyone forgets this team was going nowhere with zero expectations. David Stearns, the GM who assembled the Brewers from a perennial bottom dweller to year in year out playoff team, got the Metsies from zero to one of the most memorable seasons in our history. With "no name" acquisitions. If the Mets missed the playoffs and did just "ok"...we'd think,"Alriiiight, we're trending up!" But the team surpassed that. Within weeks expectations went through the stratosphere. We're currently playing a team that has been a World Series favorite for like....what 5 years straight? 4? 3? Whatever it is they've been just missing and adding to this. Forget starters. They have a bullpen army. They have hitters all up and down. The Mets will need the most super of magics to win this series. And as so strongly stated in this podcast....way too many auto outs in this lineup. Alonso (I'm ok if he walks, as in goes to another team because the only way he gets on base is walks) Martinez, Alvarez, Enrique Eglesias.... All that said....Lindors' play. That pick he had with the gun to first. Un....real...play. An incredible play....completely forgotten...shadowed over by lots of poopie. *sigh*
