I’ve been experimenting with meeting for about a year. Recently it’s become a more regular thing as the habit has become more second nature. I’ve always had a hard time breathing through my nose so I’ve done a lot of mouth breathing over the years; but recently the mewing has been making some improvements in the nasal cavity area. I have now been mewing for 3461 years my tongue posture has become so perfect that my tongue now fused with my jaw. My jaw is now so refined that it extends outward into bone blades. I saw no big changes, just a lot more definition in the face (leaner) and after two years I got better masseters, still nothing impressive. And no changes that couldn't be associated with a normal growth. Now, I was an athlete. That means that I had a good muscular tone and low body fat. If you do mewing or not, just being fit and chew harder foods will give you a much better look. Do mewing, but if you aren't hitting the gym or doing some sport, start with it; the results you will see will be much better. P.D.: I don´t know your state, but please don't give it too much importance. Explore and stay with people that makes you feel funny and happy or work in something that makes you passionate. I developed a gap between my teeth because of my habit of resting my tongue on my upper front teeth. This habit pushed my teeth so much that I developed severe gaps between all my upper front teeth. I got aligners to fix the gap and completed my three years of treatment, resulting in perfect, no-gap teeth. However, when I stopped using retainers, I noticed that in one night only, I was again developing a minor gap between my upper front teeth. Probably the reason is that while sleeping, I again press my tongue hard against my upper front teeth with a closed mouth. So now I am trying to put my tongue in the right place so I won't have to use retainers at night for my whole life.

I went to the orthodontist to fix my open bite and he told me i have tongue thrust! He told me that the front teeth naturally pull down and wanna touch together but the force of my tongue was pushing them apart. He recommended i consider speech therapy to fix my tongue habit because braces would only give a temporary fix. But I’m gonna try to mew to fix my habit! And do some speech therapy research on the side.

I'm scared of suffocation and its literally impossible to breathe through my nose! EDIT: I think I practiced eating with my tongue first and breathing in with nose and exhaling with mouth like done for exercise. Now it's unfortunate that I have postnasal drip and it can be tough breathing quietly through the nose. I am breathing through my nose most of the time when awake however make snoring sounds when sleeping and breathing more with mouth, not from sleep apnea or anything. I still haven't really seen facial improvement, maybe my fat is hiding it.

2:50 you can say "na na na" instead, that way on the "n" your tongue will hit the correct spot everytime so you know exactly where the tip of your tongue should be.

If you want more noticeable, faster results, you can try hard mewing. Just be cautious because if you don’t have proper tongue or neck posture when you hard mew you can actually make your face worse.

I don't know if this matters but after 3 months of mewing and chin tucks, and countless hours of smiling whenever I don't mew, yep it sounds like I might look like a psychopath but I noticed a dimple on my right cheek show up. I've been noticing a dot before but it was less noticeable probably because I have too much fat on my face but after mewing it showed up.
